Cheers again for the advice mate. You were right as in they did close the main road (Bolton road I think) after the game, but as I was parked just off there, I was allowed to drive back up there, & I was on the M65 within 6/7 minutes & was home at 5 past 2!
Well worth the trip, especially for that tool in the home section with the blue coat on (not sure if you saw him), as he was worth watching on his own. Wouldn’t want to sit through that last 15 minutes or so again though! |

Just looking for a little guidance. I’ve bought a ticket last minute for tomorrow. Going up by car & parking all sorted, but just wanted to confirm with you guys on here that due to me buying my ticket so close to the game, am I right in thinking that they’ll have my ticket there at the away turnstile when I turn up?
I normally buy my away tickets quite far in advance, but I had a similar situation last season when I went to the Plymouth game, & bought my ticket the night before, & they had my ticket at the away turnstile there. Just wanted to know if this was normal practice when buying a ticket so close to the game.
Probably sounds like a stupid question for most of you, but I’m extremely ocd with stuff like this, & just wanted to make sure.

Come back from 2 down to beat Peterborough 3-2 away ‘99/00 season. What I liked about that at the time apart from the obvious, was that John Hollins admitted after the game that it was Curt who suggested a formation change at half time, & obviously had the desired effect. We won the league that season, so it was a vital win for us. |

I knew we were in trouble as soon as he made those subs. Eom & Cullen brought absolutely nothing to the team after coming on. Sat back too early and just invited cross after cross into our box. Goal was definitely coming. As mentioned elsewhere on here Hull were nothing special at all, but thoroughly deserved their point today. |

Thing is, most clubs up & down the land are looking for a striker. Not just us. They don’t come cheap either, & unlike the previous regime, I think the club are doing their best here. |

It’s of interest as he’s our former manager, but it’s most certainly not a massive deal, well not for me anyway. Always interesting to see how ex-managers get on, but for me, that’s as far as it goes, and if people want to discuss him on here, then fair enough. It is a football forum after all. |

Ian Love was my favourite player as a kid lol. I think the best “depth of striker” era we had since then was around 2006 I think. Trunds, Bayo, Fallon & Leon Knight. Give anything to have just one of those now |

I got it to work off my iPhone, but that was only when I disconnected my VPN. The site clearly has issues though. On another note, I’ve had a jack army membership but haven’t renewed this season yet, but am I right in thinking that JA membership this season doesn’t get you slightly discounted tickets any more? Just early access, points & swans cash? |

For me, once we’ve played 10 games or so, once the window is shut, once the injuries (hopefully) clear up & most are match fit, then we’ll have a better idea of the season ahead, & better placed to make a judgement from there |

Hanging my hat on the fact that it may take possibly 7-10 games for this team to gel, once the injuries have eased & all the new signings (if there are any more that is) are through the door, & Sheehan will know his best starting 11.
