Gillingham go top with Ainsworth on an 18 match unbeaten run and Holloway continues to get Swindon rising up the table. Both looking younger by the day, well deserved success for them both. |

Lazy post, is there a list of QPR players on International duty? I don't think Richard Kone has made the Ivory Coast squad yet, but Rumarn Burrell will be in Jamiaca. [Post edited 30 Aug 18:32]

Week 1 completed.after the Bastille day stage, with an unusual Tuesday rest day tomorrow. Brilliant day in mountains, well worth catching up on today's stage 🚴♀️ Can't see past Tadej getting his forth win and closing in on the GOAT, but Jonas will be attacking till the final stage. |

Anyone in attendance? Big Stan Bowles flag spotted at the front for Alanis Morissette. Not the best lineup this year but looking forwards to Rod, Prodigy and Kneecap should be interesting. |
 | Forum Thread | Friday Night Lights.. Smug Saturday feeling at 10:41 31 Aug 2024
Normally hate Saturdays when QPR aren't playing but this morning while I stare at two Computer screens in an imaginary ticketmaster queue, I feel quite smug. The Mrs has given me a list of jobs which I should manage with ease and still fit in a 25km bike ride, whilst keeping an ear open for my footy bet and listening to BBC 5live. What is everyone else doing, this fine last Sat in Aug? [Post edited 31 Aug 2024 10:42]

Don't deserve it, but over the two legs they've been a bit unfortunate. |

You going to be avoiding at all costs or embracing a night of euro bonkers TV. My girls love it, probably down to me getting the sweepstake and scorecards going from a young age 😁 The scoring has gone to another level and far to confusing, not to mention political. Anyone else tuning in on Saturday night, I seem to remember we get a small bit of interest on here. |

Really nice to see him walking round the pitch with the QPR players at the end clapping the QPR fans. Obviously the club still means a lot to him and he did not deserve any booing. |
 | Forum Thread | European dreams - Possible away travel ban at 08:02 24 Oct 2023
My number one bucket list dream is to follow QPR away in one of the three European club competitions. I was too young in the 70s and early 80s and had to make do with trips to Highbury. Then the Scousers ruined my dreams further getting English clubs banned. Managed to get to the Ibiza cup final but away travel in Europe now seem an evermore distant dream. European bodies are looking at the ECO footprint of 1000 games a season with an average travelling distance of 1000 miles. A ban on away travel is a real possibility and the format of the competitions is being discussed. Next seasons CL format is expanding and creating a bigger ECO issue. Could this be the writing on the wall of the European midweek jolly up? Probably safe for a few more seasons but could we be looking at the US NFL model where away travel is not really a thing? |

Can we avoid a Russell Brand thread 😁..... remember this is definitely not a RB thread |
 | Forum Thread | The Heston Effect at 19:56 26 Jun 2023
In the Dykes interview he keeps mentioning the new Premier league training facilities. It got me thinking on how much of a difference it will make in signing new players and extending contracts. I think in a few seasons we will be able to hopefully see the benefits of the Heston effect in player recruitment. Must make a big difference to know this will be your place of work when looking at a 3yr deal at QPR and a real differentiater when comparing other clubs. Where we can't compete on wages we need to attract players in other ways and show casing Heston. How many on here have factored in the office facilities such as gym, canteen and location when applying for new jobs. https://www.qpr.co.uk/videos/interviews/dykes-excited-for-next-chapter-260623/ |
