That is exactly how we should approach games like today's, go and kill it off asap. Well done all and another 3 points nearer to that 100 target. |

I'd take defeat today and 4 points off York in the league. York are the best team that we've played so far and will be there or there abouts in May, we have a extra weekend of rest now don't we at the start of November? 3points against Yeovil next week and 3 points closer to that 100 points target is the priority. 100 points has to be the target, it doesn't matter who we beat to get to that total let's just get ther asap. It's not a downer on today, today's result was brilliant and we need to kick on from here now. |

Yeah so let's just keep on rolling on the three points. It's a bitch of a league to get out of so like I keep on saying 100 points has to be the target however and whoever we beat to take those points from. We got off to a pretty poor start in the 16/17 season but somehow nearly crashed the League1 playoffs that season, it'd be ridiculous to compare this season's start with that season's start. Ok, the quality isn't as great in this league as say League2 in let's say 07/08 right? So to compare to previous seasons other 23/24 and 24/25 is ridiculous. Let's enjoy the moment which is what I'm doing. [Post edited 4 Oct 19:48]

The comparisons to our previous starts to season other than the last two seasons are irrelevant due to us playing in a league with part time teams in now so please stop. However that was so comfortable today, Jim is learning from his mistakes and that'll do for me. Starting without our A-Team on Wednesday cost us but Jim has sort of been proved correct by today's result and performance. A week off and a tough fixture in the FA Cup, I'd go for it with a strong starting XI as the FA Cup is still a valuable competition to us supporters and financially to the club. I'm right in thinking that we have no midweek fixture in the league after the York game? |

Seems like the bookies didn't realise that either. Still, always nice to make money from a bury defeat old club or new club! Something definitely dodgy with that fixture today 👀. 'Thisfamousbentclub' |

There was a roll of eyes at the news of the changes again, I know that it's FG on Saturday but three points is three points in this league, saying that the second half performance was worthy of a point but that's what happens you put out your A-Team. |

York haven't properly got going yet though have they? That's why we just need to keep hammering the points and goals like we are doing. The originally scheduled York away fixture would have been a great time to play them. |

That's the way that Oldham won the playoffs, go out and kill the game you have your tails up. I keep saying we need to get to 100 asap, I'm thinking that you could finish on 100 points and still finish second. |

The 4th goal last night was brilliant from start to finish. I was in the Main Stand for a change last night and Taylor from the dugout doesn't stop barking at the players, he really is a welcome addition to the management team. The 1907 bar in The Main Stand is looking smart too and the ex players night organised by Keith Hicks was excellent too. |

I'm out of the country at the moment so can't comment about the amount of rain that has fallen yesterday/today but my lad's game on Top O'th Lane (which is notoriously bad) went ahead this morning. The pitch has to be the board's priority now as having a game called off in September is an absolute joke. [Post edited 20 Sep 15:57]

The 'Big 5' are us, FG, Carlisle, Southend and York imo. The games against those teams are huge but it's the points dropped against everyone else that could cost teams and Brackley aside we're doing well at not dropping points against those teams. |

Always remember sitting in the little bar watching 'Saint and Greavsie' and getting let into the ground for free at about 1.30pm, the odd occasion a player would come and do a bit of a Q&A with us. I remember my first away game was a Junior Dale mini bus trip to Bolton and we ended up sat with the Bolton fans behind the net opposite the end where the supermarket was. Happy days. |

Yesterday was a game that we would have lost last season so credit goes to Jim and everyone who dug in to keep that clean sheet in the second half. The big 5 in division seem to be making their moves now and I believe that we will need 100+ points to win the league so EVERY game is as important as the ones that we'll play against the big 5. |

Well done Jim and Mani who is our new darling! We won't mention Brackley 👀. We go again in September now. |
