'With all due respect' - I try not to say it because someone once said to me, when you say that you are basically telling someone they are talking $hit. Every time I have subsequently heard it confirmed it!
I'm guessing there were others here who were also at the game there when there was a ban from the terraces. There was only a few hundred of us back when Jack Charlton was manager there. Their fans had rioted a week or two earlier and that was their punishment. Typically the next home game was against us but Jim Gregory subsidised the difference between what we had paid for the terrace and the seat price.
If you are not after paid work I am always impressed with all the National Trust guides you see at their properties. A great way to find out about the history of these old buildings etc as well.
Just something I have thought about doing myself in a few years.
