From the replay, it looked nasty. Hope he's alright. He has been a really positive signing for us. |

'...More than 12 million people bought tickets to Championship games in 2023-24 - an increase of 22% on the previous season and the highest overall attendance since records began in 1892. 'The figure is higher than Germany's Bundesliga, Spain's La Liga and Italy's Serie A, making the Championship the second highest-attended league in Europe, behind the Premier League...' I know we like to give off 'wouldn't want to go up anyway' vibes but it just goes to show that the Championship, with all its faults, is still a massive draw. I mean, there are some big leagues there and yet more come to watch the likes of Oxford, Stoke and Preston across a season than Real or Bayern! Absolutely mental! |

Didn't UFC start as an exhibition to showcase full-contact martial arts? I think it was one of those 'no way a kick-boxer could beat a sumo wrestler' type of things. I can understand the attraction in that. Could a ninja beat a Spartan peer? |

Has anyone mentioned a pay-as-you-play deal yet? |

'Wind assisted performance'? Probably needs more fibre in his diet. |

I think pretty much everyone wants him to make it here. The frustration seems to be that we can all see his potential, he has produced flashes that give us hope. And, as all R's are taught at their mother's knee: 'Bubi, it's the hope that kills you'. I really like the way he's tried to grasp this latest opportunity. He can't have been unaware of our reaction to him - he looked spent last month but these two games gives him something to build on. Gotta start somewhere, right...? Right? Yeah? Ah, bollocks, I'm hoping again. This bloody club. |

As others have already mentioned, what a ball from Dembele to Ashby! Set faces to 'stunned'. With the team we put out, that performance was quite something. Thought Ashby had his best game in our colours and it was great to see Saito back. |

Well, we didn't lose. And in the first half hour we looked pretty decent. Honestly couldn't believe Kolli taking on the shot rather than make the pass to Smyth but I suppose strikers will always back themselves to score. Decent result, especially with the availability issues we've got. |
