Diversification of income is a big thing, another issue that Clarkson's show has highlighted.

Crap squad, up to their eyeballs in debt, can't find a manager and still run by Tan.

Said it before, but it's entirely possible that they haven't bottomed out yet. Wouldn't bet against a battle at the wrong end of the table again this season.

23 games played at £50k per week works out at just under a quarter of a million quid per match over two years.

And a relegation.

I guess the smaller ones are basically hobby farms rather than going concerns?

My Grandmother's family were all farmers. Bits of West Cross are named after them. War and death duties did for most of it. All broken up and sold off over the years. Probably all housing now.

One branch still farms near Penclawdd, or did to the last of my knowledge.

Are young Iranian girls free to wear what they want or are they getting beaten to death for it? How about those in Afghanistan? Do you not think this goes on behind closed doors in the West too?

Their husbands/fathers/brothers tell them what to wear. The Government should give them the freedom not to. Sorry if you think that women's rights are incendiary.

Yep.

Unless two other parties somehow manage to secure a majority between them and form a coalition, which is highly unlikely, Wales is stuck with the same failed parties running it as have since 1999.

Just on Zoopla there are currently six farms for sale in Wales for more than £2m.

The Absurdity of It All

Issue there is where do you draw the line. On paper I own the house my father lives in (via complicated divorce nonsense). Do i pay extra tax or evict my dad and sell the house?

Some people just don't get it. This thread is proof positive of that.

There's this entire, highly paid profession within the HMRC called "tax inspectors". Maybe they could be called into action?

You've made that point numerous times. I've never disputed it, even though you oddly seem to think that I have. Again, comprehension skills aren't the best it would appear.

Jesus Christ can you read?

Third time. Maybe it'll sink in this time. Those who buy farmland for tax exemption purposes should be looked at. Those who don't, shouldn't.

There are no "moral issues" over farmland being exempted for those who have farmed land for generations. No sensible ones anyway. I'd rather farmers be tax exempt than yet more money squeezed by the Goverment to piss away.

I didn't realise that only Ceredigion had genuine farmers.

Nonsense of course. Generational farms can be found everywhere in the UK. Or they can for the moment. If Labour's tax robbery stands then for the most part only Corporations and millionaires will be rich enough to farm.

I repeat, for the hard of thinking, there is a justifiable argument for closing the loophole to those who buy farmland to avoid tax. To implement a "one size fits all" approach is just moronic.

Spot on.

Labour's tax on farming is largely identical in the ineptitude of its execution as their attack on the Winter Fuel Allowance. Instead of taking the time to seriously look at those who are entitled/taking the mickey, the one size fits all approach has done serious damage.

There are people who buy farmland to avoid tax. By all means look at closing that loophole. However, Labour are seemingly intent on destroying family farms that have operated for generations because they're too f*cking stupid to do anything else.

Israel arming Palestinian gangsters

It does seem odd that no other Middle Eastern country has ever really taken serious action against Israel for the alleged mistreatment of Palestinians. Against Israel itself for existing (including various territorial disputes), but not because anything that's ever happened in Gaza or the West Bank.

"but the u21s should be transitional to first team football in my opinion"

Yep. From the age of about 18 they should be knocking on the door of first team football. For us if they're ready, off on loan if not.

I wouldn't read too much into the International call ups. Just by dint of birth the odds are a reasonable player in the Swans youth setup will be called up for Wales because the talent pool is that much smaller.

A Hijab is a head covering which leaves the face visible. They are extremely common.

A Niqab covers everything except the eyes. They are less common than Hijab's but not rare.

A Burqa covers everything. I've seen a couple about, but not many.

Got no problem with the first one. The latter two should be banned in any free secular Nation. For every one woman who wears one voluntarily, there are hundreds who are forced to, or are frightened not to. Most choose to have their faces covered in cloth instead of acid.

There is an element of this to it, but for me it's mostly because we're too scared to push the players out there. For some reason we mostly seem to coddle them in the u23's until they're around 20/21 years old, and only then look to give them openings on loan or have them around the first team squad.

Players like Wilson and Nzingo should have been sent out on loan to play at the levels they are now 18-24 months ago before maybe going out again at the start of last season at a higher one. It's delayed their development, perhaps irreperably.

They're not going to test themselves playing against other kids until they're in their early 20's.

Three goals and four assists despite being a midfielder mostly played out wide under a hopeless manager. He did ok for me.
