I really enjoyed the Surfer. It wasn't what I expected at all.
Sisu is just barmy and they're supposedly making a sequel.
I really enjoyed Signs on Life at the weekend. A film about grief which makes you work at it.
I struggled with The Monkey - it started well and then became a bit predictable.
Looking forward to Caught Stealing this week. |

My Mum sends stuff via signed for & guaranteed delivery for birthdays, Christmas etc. and pays LOADS for the privilege of a basic service.
Can I just add society's requirement that everything needs to get feedback? Just had to make a call about changing something minor on an insurance policy - a 5 minute call. I had to listen to almost 3 minutes of preamble including why my comments are so important and that I'd get a follow up call to ask what I thought of the service. To change a direct debit? Why do I have to rate - and then explain - whether I thought the person was courteous, professional, and attentive? This was a big firm and the person probably does 6 calls an hour, 50 a day. What are they going to do with all that information? Sod all. [Post edited 3 Sep 9:59]

Ordered a shirt on 5 Aug, chased 18 Aug.
Got an email which said:
"Firstly please let me apologise for the slow response to your email, with the amount of orders we have received with the new kits releases, this has pushed us back by a few days
And with personalisation on a lot of the order, we have had a long print queue to get through, I can confirm your was one that has been completed today and will be scanned in by Royal Mail either today or tomorrow
Thank you for your patience at this time"

I have limited experience of this but did build a run of 4 decent results before it all went wrong last time.
I will, of course, come up with a decent thread title too. Something along the lines of 'That awkward time seeing your ex (striker) for the first time'. |
