Totally agree. He can knock his first touch a bit further away than most players due to his speed. Today his touch almost lures the goalie, who then realises he can’t get there in time and ends up looking hesitant and then dinked.

Not a bad first touch if he causes havoc and catches up with it

Gaffer on today's win
at 23:48 13 Sep 2025

Surprising that judging a new manager after 3 games, which most of us did, without a finalised team, was kneejerkly premature

He obviously knows what he’s doing and I think the variety shown so far this season is really impressive

Looking forward to seeing what he can do with our best squad in ages

He’s so effective as is just obsessed with defending, which sometimes gets forgotten is the main job of a centre back! Bit like this nonsense of buying a goalie for their skills with their feet rather than their hands!

He’s also a more than decent forward passer. Great signing by the club and he’s very much growing into being our defensive leader.

Don’t think anyone really gets dropped nowadays, squad rotation is such a key part of the modern game.
If it was the playoff final, he’d be in the team and deservedly so.

Mbengue isn’t perfect but the amount of loose balls he cleared in our box was exceptional. I’m ok with a defender just being good at the dirty side of the game

Why do we sign players on 2/3 year deals then put them on the market?? I get the not wanting to let them move for free but isn’t it more important to have a settled team??

Modern football is bonkers

No way he plays tomorrow if they’ve accepted a bid for him

Totally agree, but it’s absolutely mental that a bunch of professional athletes can’t be in top shape for the start of the season. And if not top shape then at least as fit as our opponents

Familiar learnings and fresh frustrations as QPR lose at Watford – Report
at 23:27 17 Aug 2025

Great report, love the reminder that it’s very early in the season and us fans have a big part to play in lifting the team.

Madsen seems to suffer from the ‘Ozils’ - obviously he is nowhere that level but he looks like he isn’t trying when of course he is. Think he’ll be out the team pretty soon but I don’t agree with jeering him off the pitch.

Their #23 Ibrahim is from Brackenbury Road and was a QPR fan as a kid, Arsenal took him off us when he was 12.

He looks pretty decent too

ITK - annoying but interesting…
at 11:41 30 Jul 2025

Hi - although everyone dislikes supposed ITK posters, especially with some of the pro-board PR bots on here recently, I did want to share some info on here that may be of interest, even though both subjects have been done to death!

Marti - a friend was part of the Leicester interview process. According to Marti, the gardening leave came about from a complete breakdown between him and Nourry. He knew he would be going this summer hence his agent touting him for other Championship jobs.
He went into the process as 4/5th favorite but interviewed so well and impressed LCFC so much with his pitch that he jumped to the top of the queue. They’ve gone for him as they really need to unite their fan base and they think he did that here and will do it there.

Kelman - was always going to leave this summer as he didn’t want to come back to QPR and sit on the bench or be rotated. I’ve heard him on speakerphone putting on a cod French accent and slagging the new gaffer off, so we’re better off without him. Charlton actually put a bid in straight away after the playoff final,so surprised it took so long.

Anyway, thought it was interesting to share, personally looking forward to the new season, but I feel like that every July!

Agreed - I think their anger is from the lack of a fee

Either way the boos are ridiculous

Players who thought would be bang average but ended up being brilliant !!

Maybe a bit of a reach…but Matthew Rose and Nedum Onohua? Probably weren’t brilliant for us but both exceeded expectations

Have we ever had a better loan than Ronnie Edwards?
at 18:09 10 Apr 2025

Jimmy Smith was very good for us when he came from Chelsea on loan. Scored quite a few goals if memory serves. Kyle walker though for me, was unbelievable.

Ronnie has done so well, he’s a class act and I could see him carving out a great premier league career

Having worked in both football and banking, I can tell you that it’s a similar type of individual that succeeds in both. And both are full of chancers, we just generally understand less about banking as it’s deliberately murky

Stainrod, your football opinion often baffles me but I know we don’t need to agree on that and that’s the beauty of a forum. But this and some of your borderline racism in other threads shows the man you are. Shocking
