Being a figurehead for any club can work both ways, adulation when things go well, abuse when not going so well. He has overseen success in the main since the appointment of Chris Davies, probably learnt a lot after the appointment & failure of Rooney |

I watched the Immigration force raiding a property on Mansel Street last week then chasing a bunch of people before catching them. They did not look like a force to be messed with. The problems occur when the people that they caught are taken in - the law protects them free of charge even if they are illegal immigrants or have committed other crimes. They get released & the cycle goes on |

Tan has pumped millions and millions into the club already. Just goes to show how you still need the right people running the club operations as well as the right people on the coaching & playing staff. It’s been a pleasure watching them fail year after year for many of us and long may it continue |

I’d be disappointed if we stretched ourselves to the limit to sign him. For me we haven’t replaced the engine room of our post Luke Williams era success yet (O’Brien & Allen). He would be a better option than we have at the moment but not at any cost. There’s a reason why no other club has taken him on yet.
Wasn’t he good buddies with the Rodon family ? Perhaps that’s the reason for his visit … |

If that was Aus v Wales I am not convinced that the decision would have gone our way. Justice in the end, always prefer to see the side who scores the most tries win. 5-3 better side (just) won |

Our away bus nearly always used to divert to Aberdare to pick up quite a few, next valley to Mountain Ash. Four lads from Mountain Ash have also been season ticket holders in the row next to us at the stadium for years [Post edited 22 Jul 20:40]

Australia’s recent results have been poor & for sure they are relatively lowly ranked amongst southern hemisphere nations. Not sure how you can call the Lions a poor side, the best players from Britain & Ireland starting to gel nicely as a group. Some decent performances & getting better. Lions should win the series comfortably but Australia are more than capable of putting in some decent performances |

This should be a real battle as both Pogacar & Vingegaard have completed their preps without crashing & having to carry injuries in to the Tour. Pogacar beat him comfortably in the Dauphine & has the stronger climbing team.
The Yates twins up against each other on domestique duties will be interesting & Geraint’s last TdF makes it feel like the end of an era. Big mountain stages don’t kick in until stage 10.
Just hope it’s not decided on TT stages |
