This is what Field offers - gotta love him for that

We're marginally better of two poor sides. Completely lacking pace and creativity today

Apart from the slip, RND has looked very solid

Hayden and Field is a recipe to go backwards the entire game, it seems

Dembelé looking poor to start. Silly free kick to give away

Have to wonder if having no pace up front is going to hurt us...

Again, Jaz is a fantastic host. Can't remember if I said this last time but these podcasts are really amazing for those of us who live abroad and so can't reasonably get to many games during the season. It's lovely to get a tiny taste of it from across the sea!

This was my moment too. Looked down at the lad with a bit of *spice* in his eyes which you just love to see.

Kealey Adamson?

I wasn't calling for him to play, just wondered where he was. I assumed he'd be getting DS football but haven't seen him there either.

Kealey Adamson?

Looking at the discussion around Dunne at RB - what happened to Adamson? We knew he'd need time to grow but I don't see him in the DS or anywhere near the 1st team. Did he pick up an injury and I missed it?

What a great day,
at 06:43 21 Sep 2025

I love that when we need to change a game, he brings on attacking players (who wants a point?) and when we want to hold on to a game, he tries to bring on attacking players to defend from the front 😂

Could be a season of "you might score 4, but we'll score one more" football - just the right amount of bonkers for a QPR manager!

I wasn't sold on the signing because I felt like it was a lot to spend on a position that we were already loaded up in.

Happily munching down on my words every Sunday for breakfast with a nice glass of orange juice...

Vale’s goal .
at 06:29 21 Sep 2025

Chelsea let him go to us for free in exchange for a very hefty 40% sell-on.

Don't really care though because when he goes for £20m+ to the prem it's pure profit for us, and in the meantime I'm going to enjoy a few more beauties like that...

Morrison Goal Line Clearance Thread
at 06:24 21 Sep 2025

It was as good as a goal, as the gaffer said in his post-game. Morrison has been quietly very effective, and only seems to be getting better. If he can stay fit then we have a very very good CB on our hands.

I could give MotM to 4 players. I don't think I've been able to say that with Rangers for years...

Get in!!! What a well-earned win - we made all the chances in the 2nd half. And Vale's goal was far too sexy to be shown at this time of the day 😂

Decent enough half - scrappy game but we're battling well. Madsen is showing a bit of bite which I like. Need to make some clearer chances.

As someone who has also not been to an away game in donkey's years, I agree with FDC. I also kind of liked the background audio, it added atmosphere to the whole thing (though I'm sure it made editing a nightmare!)

How did Madsen play yesterday?
at 06:49 17 Sep 2025

I was going to put this in the JS thread but I agree. One thing I've liked has been that when we're starting to lose control of games, Stephan brings on attacking players to try and regain the impetus.

Will it always work? Probably not. But I'd rather let in an equaliser going for a 3rd to win a game rather than concede while we park the bus for a point.
