"Why?" Because it's a football forum and not a political one. It that really so hard to understand? Thanks for the advice! |

A fair summary, if Roerslev is more of a defender than Sugawara then I'll be happier. Unlike some fans, I'm quite happy to make a serious effort in these Caraboa cup games; as we can see from last night it motivates everyone from team to fans and gives squad players, who are largely similar in talent, the opportunity to make an impression and possibly raise the levels of first team, and squad, standards. Long may it continue. Cup draw tonight. |

Stick to football. Ban all politics from the forum. There are plenty of other sites for politics. |

He also seems a bit overweight and a bit slow. Perhaps understandable because of lack of game time but he does train with the others. I remember him being much sharper when he played for Sheff Utd. Anyway, praise for the goal deserved. Come on Cameron , sharpen up, you can do it. [Post edited 26 Aug 21:55]

Yes, Roslev looks basic. Why don't we buy anybody beyond that level of mediocrity? It's frustrating. After 60 years of watching football at all levels, it only takes 1/2 an hour to know what a footballer's like because one can comprehend their touch and decision making. If he's proves any better than my suspicions I'll buy you a pint. If he's as I say. You can buy me two pints. [Post edited 26 Aug 20:55]

Every opportunity on goal in the first half he was too late. Sugawara is also a rightback. |

Stewart seems a second too late to get to the ball. Hopefully that will change with more match practice! |

Roeslev is no better than Sugawara. Good goal Cameron. We still look shite. [Post edited 26 Aug 20:30]

Just play Robinson and Armstrong as wingers. Can't see why not, it's better than the present debacle. [Post edited 26 Aug 20:26]

 | Forum Reply | Conspiracy Crank Le Tissier Again Promotes Post of Cancer Cure Being Hidden at 20:04 23 Aug 2025
"Would it surprise anyone if a cure was being kept secret to keep the profits rolling in. Money and profits overrule everything." The cancer industry is a multi-billion pound industry. There is a great deal of evidence suggesting cures other than the current procedures if anyone cared to research this. The tobacco industry knew the harm smoking caused whilst still promoting the product and taking billions. There is plenty of evidence of Corporations and The State knowingly promoting harmful products whilst cashing in, the recent disaster included. Saints 'supporting' Sunak invested 1/2 billion in Moderna just before the 'Pandemic'. [Post edited 23 Aug 20:07]

"Stoke. Conceded half as many, score well enough to have a goal difference of five after two games and they definitely have their tails up. We are still blundering in defence and well underpowered up front. Yes, on paper we are a vastly superior team(!) but I don't think we are that much better on the pitch. Today might be a very important pointer to what we can really expect from Still and the team." No-one's honest enough to say you were spot on Mush and had the guts to say so. Just showed we're a pretty average Championship team at the moment. There's been too much hype about how great Still is and how we're going to win the league with such a strong squad. Woken up with a bump today. |

Yes, his going to keep collecting those balls we're lobbing up to him all day long. |

Pathetic missed header from Downes infront of goal - where Robinson scored last week. Stewart's missed wasn't much better. |

Good point - at one stage in the first half I thought, "Oh no, we're reverting to RM's tippy-tappy." Still must have had a go at them at half time, he could see that it was counter-productive. |

I thought Stewart would play yesterday and ,to me, looks perfectly capable of fulfilling that role. Moore proved a handful for Wrexham but I think eventually Stewart will prove a better player although he didn't feature much in the end of the pre-season friendlies and I'm not sure Still does rate him, as mentioned. Downs should be back-up - give the lad some time, I think he's going to be useful given more minutes. Hopefully we'll have Downs and Stewart up front against Northampton - I think the terrible duo have yet to be seriously tested together. Saints should sell Armstrong and bring two decent wingers in. The club's failure in this area for quite a few seasons has been pathetic TBH. |

Still needs to sort out the defence and play our best forwards. We got away with that one. |
