Was talking at an Oxford fan I know about it. Same as an upper loft walk up so if you’re dropping the price of away tickets presumably you’d do the same at the other end and wipe how much off the already meagre revenue?
The points allocation is a mystery. I’ve a few of my mates in my “network” who’ve as many points as me despite the fact that we all go to the same home games but I also do some away. Makes zero sense to me.
The goalkeeping situation has been bungled badly. Walsh should be the one out on a season long loan building confidence and experience. Cooper, having already done both of the above should be the one here competing for the no. 1 shirt having earned rave reviews at Stevenage.
As it is we’ve now got a number one with no confidence, a number two who’s been totally sidelined for whatever reason (other than his reluctance to come for a cross) and potentially our best keeper now in League One for the season as highly unlikely there is any recall clause (certainly not this side of January).
Watched the second half of the Wealdstone game and then the final few minutes of D&R at Solihull. They missed 3 really good chances in injury time to pinch the win. Total lack of composure in front of goal.
You seem to be suggesting that journalism and some bloke posting on a message board out of the blue at a time when a wedge is being driven between supporters is one and the same thing. It isn’t.
Until there is either a change in the ownership or a change in the rules to allow the ownership to invest as they see fit in their own club then I am afraid this is our lot. If a manager does well we cannot give him the resources to take it to the next level and someone else inevitably can.
As always, it all boils down to the utter mismanagement of this ownership at the beginning of their tenure. A millstone that will hang round the neck of the club for god knows how long.
The bigger concern for me is getting the next appointment correct. Getting Marti and him being successful (by our very meagre expectations of what successful is for QPR due to the constant mismanagement of the club by its owners) feels like it might have been a fluke!
