 | Forum Thread | Quarshie or Quasie at 19:49 28 May 2025
Looks like we're signing a big young fast central German defender named Joshua Quarshie. I panicked when I heard this I thought were were bringing back a 46 year old Nigel Quasie. Who remembers him he'd been relegated more times than Aaron Ramsdale. |
 | Forum Thread | Will Still bringing his two brothers with him. at 08:40 22 May 2025
I'm finding the choice of Will Still even more interesting now that it's apparent that he intends to bring his two brothers to our club as his backroom staff. I just hope that SR get this appointment right, it could be seriously damaging to our already in turmoil club. Is he really joining us for the right reasons or is it just a convenient way of getting back to the UK lifestyle. |
 | Forum Thread | Russell Martin linked with Leicester job. at 15:44 21 May 2025
If rumours are correct then Leicester are keen on getting Russell Martin in as Coach. As much as I personally don't rate him he'll probably be a good fit for Leicester in Championship. |
 | Forum Thread | Why do the club lie to us fans. at 18:59 18 May 2025
I get fed up with the club telling us porkies. It very obvious to all of us that the likes of KWP & Bednarek are not ill or injured. They are not playing because they are being protected from injury. They probably already have a commitment to move on. If that is the case we're going to find out soon so why all the smokescreens. We deserve to be told what's going on. |
 | Forum Thread | Nathan Jones takes Charlton to Wembley at 12:11 16 May 2025
Anyone remember Nathan Jones. Well, he's taking Charlton to Wembley for 3rd tier play off final. But in doing so makes an absolute idiot of himself against Wycombe last night. It's one thing showing passion but this guy takes it to a different level. He's crazy ( but we already knew that). [Post edited 16 May 12:12]

 | Forum Thread | We'll set another record. at 16:41 12 May 2025
We'll set another record if we lose our lose two games. Derby lost 29 games, we've already lost 28. Lose one more and were share that record with Derby. Lose both our Last games & we will be the proud owners of the record for team that lost the most games in one season in Premier lge. About the only thing we're good at now is setting records. |
 | Forum Thread | How embarrassing at 18:53 18 Apr 2025
Players that we loan out cannot get into Championship sides. Both Adam Armstrong & Bereton Diaz are named as substitutes today. That just about sums up how poor our squad is this season. |
 | Forum Thread | What happened to Albert Groenbaek at 20:33 14 Apr 2025
We signed Albert Groenbaek in January on loan. He's only played a few minutes whats the problem with him. Is he injured or was he just another rubbish signing. |
 | Forum Thread | Forget bouncing straight back to Premier. at 22:52 12 Apr 2025
I hope I'm wrong but I just cannot see us bouncing straight back up next season. The spirit of our Saints has gone, under the current ownership our club has lost its heart & identity. There is definitely something wrong at the club at the moment & it starts at the top. Our owners have split allegiance, they have interest in too many clubs. We need owners that solely dedicate there funds & effort into our club. I hope I'm wrong but next season could be very frustrating unless something radically changes. |
 | Forum Thread | Jay Robinson included in today's squad at 13:50 12 Apr 2025
Good to see that Simon Rusk has the bottle to include Jay Robinson in today's squad. He looks the best of our Academy players. Not sure about bringing Slack Jack back. |
 | Forum Thread | Todays team against Spurs at 12:57 6 Apr 2025
I just don't get it. If a player is fit enough to be named as a substitute then surely he must be fit enough to start. Onuacho apparently nursing an ankle injury but is on the bench. There is a strange face on the bench as well, Ross Stewart , how many minutes before he's injured again. |
 | Forum Thread | One that got away . Anton Robinson at 09:15 24 Mar 2025
England missed out on a natural quality left back. Anton Robinson of Fulham was born in England but chose to play for USA. He is in my opinion the best left back in the Premier lge. I know it's only my opinion but he really does look a good player. [Post edited 24 Mar 9:15]

 | Forum Thread | Burnley lose 3 - 0 to Preston, shows just how bad we are. at 14:32 1 Mar 2025
After beating us in the last round Burnley have just lost 3 - 0 to Preston in the FA Cup. That just shows how bad we are. Good job we are not in the Championship this season because we'd struggle to survive with the current coach & squad. |
 | Forum Thread | 3 ctr backs on the bench & Ariba playing ctr back at 19:19 25 Feb 2025
Sorry, I just don't get it. We've got 3 ctr backs on the bench yet Joe Aribo being used as a makeshift ctr back again tonight against Chelsea. Square pegs & round holes. What is it about our team selections that I don't understand. [Post edited 25 Feb 19:20]

 | Forum Thread | Slack Jack will be back on Tuesday at 16:53 24 Feb 2025
I hate to say it but Slack Jack is likely to be back for the Chelsea match. We all know how poor he is but with all the injuries we have he's probably our best ctr back at the moment (God help us). Play him alongside ABK, we just can't continue trying to convert both Bree & Aribo into Ctr Backs, neither of them are suitable to play that position, in fact neither them are good enough to play any position in Premier Lge . Stick to just 4 across the back & 4 in midfield with Tall Paul & KS up front. Whatever team we send out will not get a result but we could restore a bit of credibility. |
 | Forum Thread | Fantastic turn out again. at 13:10 16 Feb 2025
It's surprising that so many are still turning up week after week to watch the worst Saints team that I can remember. Alright you expect a good crowd for a so called local Derby against high flying Bournemouth but there are regularly near capacity crowds for all of our home games. If only the Owners, Coaches & Players showed such resilience & commitment. |
 | Forum Thread | If Bournemouth can do it with gates of 11,000 why can't we. at 09:39 27 Jan 2025
It's amazing that Bournemouth are such a successful club with their financial limitations due to ground capacity. It was only a few years ago that the fans were collecting money in buckets to keep the club afloat. This just proves a point that get the right owners & the right principles running through the club then you can over achieve. They are playing fantastic aggressive football & getting the results that their performances deserve & currently with most of the players out injured. I will add that David Brooks is playing some great stuff for them & last season RM was reluctant to use him & we made no effort to keep him. But it worked in his favour because he's too good to be wasting his time at St Mary's. [Post edited 27 Jan 10:05]
