Agreed! Half full brigade. Still is analytical and calculating. He's watching, judging, assessing. Of course he's not going to be hugging everyone and shouting OTT messages to "Rhino" and "Tay Tay" ... I'm excited for this season, genuinely. If it's rubbish, then we go again, but I feel things are heading in the right direction this time. |

Absolutely awful this year. !975, shit. Charlie XCVIIIMCX (or whatever), dreadful talentless trollop. Neil Young, fk me, who wants to see a 79 year play that tripe? I did however enjoy Pulp. Sorry, it's awful this year. |

"In 1900 what is now Israel was 95 per cent Arab" >> We are forced in this country to be multicultural. Yet these regions want "their land" - it's all so ridiculous and backwards. Watch any US show and they'll proudly go on about being Italian, Jewish, Irish, even Dutch. Throw in the Latinos and Hispanics and it's a proper blend of backgrounds. Same with major cities in the UK. Except rather than Italian, Jewish etc., it's various African and middle Eastern nations. Yet all these middle eastern nations seem to be behind the times. You're muslim, but are you the RIGHT type of muslim? You're jewish, oh we'll just kill you all, we want OUR homeland for OUR people, etc. I'm sorry, but until all of these middle eastern areas embrace the fact that OTHER CULTURES exist, there will always be problems. And for the record, I hope the current Iran regime gets obliterated as I've read a few things recently, culimating in the fact that the younger generation there DO actually want their countries to be more like the 'west' and more embracing. |

My neighbours have just gone to the IOW festival and they're in their early 60s. I think that says it all. I think I'm in that zone (late 40s) of having ZERO interest in going, to any of them. I'll join the pensioners going when I retire (which will probably be 80). |

Also don't forget even if a few thousand people turn up, you would have to ASSUME that a percentage of those are only there for the women (in whatever way you want to read that) and / or wouldn't have ever gone to a men's football match before. So again, you can assume there will be additional merchandise sales, additional food/drink sales etc. It all adds up. Plus there are still TV rights. It's not huge business, but some _additional_ income I would assume. |
 | Forum Reply | Womans Attendances dropping at 12:51 10 Jun 2025
Exactly!! I'm not interested in the 'big clubs', but when I see a headline that says something like "x has signed for Arsenal from Chelsea", I'll click on it, then see it's women's football and close the browser. I constantly feel I'm being tricked by the BBC into clicking on women's football articles? So they can then justify so much tax payer's money being spent on coverage for something the VAST majority of football fans have no interest in watching. Hey, look how clicks we had? Yeah, most of them stayed on the page for 4 seconds. FFS. And stop with the ways tables are displayed, I want to see Prem and then the following 3 English divisions, not prem, women, scotland prem, championship. Fk off, keep the same groups together, in order, ARGH! I have nothing against Women's football, but I'm not personally interested. But the mixing it in is silly - keep the score and stories apart, make it distinct. Right rant over ... |

 | Forum Reply | The annual struggle of having to shift players out of the Club at 16:50 19 May 2025
In my opinion the ENTIRE team should be up for sale. I think Harwood-Bellis would be fine this season though, but the entire defence is longing for that Jose Fonte type steady experience. We've missed Fonte since he left and like every position in our team, was never replaced PROPERLY. Could we build a promotion chasing team out of who is there, yes absolutely. Do I want to bother watching that lot again, no absolutely the fk not. Get rid of the lot. I also presume players like Fraser and Taylor have already left! |
 | Forum Reply | Bournemouth fc at 00:54 4 May 2025
Exactly. Bournemouth, Forest, Fulham, even Villa ... pleased for all of them, well run, enjoy it. Same could've been said for Wolves a short while ago though, so it shows short lived it is. Let's see how Bournemouth do once 2 defenders and a striker go to Liverpool ... |

Whilst that's true, if you were invited by the President to "help him run the country" most people would jump at the chance, no? Elected or not, it's the person in charge's fault and now like the new messiah prophecy, he's falling out with them and moving onto the next "beautiful" person to help him MAGA. Again just being devil's advocate, I have no love of how Bezos treats his employees or Musk's bizarre opinions. |

Why are they? Being devil's advocate ... have you NEVER used an Amazon service? Have you never used PayPal? Where do you stop, Oracle, IBM, Microsoft? These 'tech oligarchs' underpin pretty much everything you're using. This forum probably sits on AWS somewhere or using an Oracle CDN? Potentially one of the people you like could be posting from home using a Starlink connection to be able to converse with you. What device are you using? I could go on ... If you're using an Amstrad on Tiscali dial-up broadband, then fair enough. |
