Midfield Vale pressed well but lacks a bit of pace. Madsden did ok today on the second half Varane didn't really do much, not sure what the bust up with Morrison on the first half was all about by Walsh had to get in between them

Walsh, please please please can we give him then next few games off. Confidence is shot and fans turning on him how. Totally at fault for the goal, distribution poor and dropped a couple too

Saito, everything you want from a player. Energy, commitment, flair. Brilliant display and lifted the crowd and the team.
Charlton were poor though. We got a bit lucky in places and need to move the ball with pace...but happy with them win

Daniel Bennie (LW | £250k from Perth Glory) 6/10. Young player who needs a loan if I am honest. Decent first season though. Liam Morrison (CB | undisclosed from Bayern Munich) 9/10. Shame he was injured as he has been outstanding when he has played. Hevertton Santos (RB | free from Estrela Amadora) 2/10. Looked poor from the beginning and not cut out for English football. Paul Nardi (GK | free transfer from Gent) 9/10 not perfect but a very good signing and quality kepper for this level. Zan Celar (CF | £1.7m from Lugano) 5/10 jury is still out. Hope he gets a good preseason in to him. Jonathan Varane (DM | £875k from Sporting Gijon) 7/10, started slowly but has got better througout the season Karamoko Dembele (AM | loan from Brest) 7/10 glimpses of a good player, another season affected by his injury Koki Saito (LW | loan from Lommel SK) 8/10 would like to see him join on a perm Nicolas Madsen (CM | £3.4m from Westerlo) 4/10 isnt the player I was hoping for and cost a lot of money Harrison Ashby (RB | loan from Newcastle United) 5/10 some good games but I seem to remember more poor ones
