Everyone's favourite purse-dippers, Bradley Wright-Phillips' and Nathan Dyer. |

That 2011/12 team had something more valuable than consistency - they could post points when you least expected it. Completely agree Barnsley and Doncaster were poor from is but they would be classic QPR banana-skins any other season. Derby and Reading away were funny unless you were supporting either of them. Leicester at home and Portsmouth away - they're all fixtures any other QPR team in the last 30 years loses. |

That's great going. One of my mates calves seized up about mile 8 so they stayed together and clocked 2.58. I think this year's men's winner ran it in 1.06 or something similarly ricockulous. |

I was there with a Rangers flag and a loud missus where the course turns in to Argyle road, just the other side of the bridge E17's describing. Three mates of mine ran it and was great to hear a lot of "U Rrs" around the course. I reckon if I start training now I'll be good for under 3 hours next year. |

As in Pat Van Den Hauwe? For a professional footballer and supposed hard-man I'd say he's the easiest footballer I've ever seen wound up by us. Remember him getting punchy punchy against us when playing for Everton until Stainrod put him back in his box. |

I think he was a good signing and he'll add some needed experience in the middle but he looked miles off it when he came off the bench against stoke. |

Isak had a decent shot on target but that was while Ronnie was otherwise occupied making sure his hairband was at the sexiest angle possible. Since then he's nutmegged the prodigy kid and Cruyff-turned the Italian lad, pausing only to teabag his supine form |

At the time of the tackle i thought "he's giving himself a bit of time to think" which is great reffing as it's not unusual to see a tackle like that, a player/crowd reaction and a card appearing like it's spring-loaded. Didn't realise he usually refs Premier fixtures though so maybe he was thinking "I'll just leave that one for VAR to fùck up" only to realise the voices in his head had gone silent. Great report. |

I can't speak to his extenuating circumstances but this sounds very accurate. Loved him as a player, bit of a tool in person. |

If I was in charge of marketing Cork airport my slogan would be "from the car to the bar in 10 minutes" Shannon is probably only still going as it (allegedly) got a bunch of cash to be a designated Shuttle alternate airfield. That or the rendition flights. |

I was going to mention that one - fùcking thing went into the top corner like it was laser-guided. I dimly recall Andy Reid lobbing one in from just inside our half for Forest (before Spurs ruined him) |

Flew into Shannon once on a Christmas eve. As we're circling to land, the pilot comes on to tell us that visibility is below safe conditions due to fog although we've got enough fuel reserves to circle for another 15mins before we have to divert to Cork. Cue disappointed groans. 15mins later he's back on and says "ah sure look, it's still no better down there but we'll give it a crack anyways." Cue delighted cheers. Smoothest landing ever. Top bins Aer Lingus. |

Fair one. Different game for midfielders and strikers. A good midfielder said to me "a good touch gives you space, space gives you time, and time gives you choices." You can still make good or bad choices though. |

I was making the point that his pace makes the entire goal. The ball it comes from is a standard "get it up the pitch and away from our box" clearance. 99.9% of the time they just end up coming straight back at us. Rumarn turns a route one ball into a superb goal. He wasn't just alert enough to react to it, he was quick enough to get to it, knock it into space in the one area of pitch that's open, and beat the keeper. Superb finish and a goal out of nothing. Fùck me sideways we've missed that kind of hunger and ability for about 20 years. But his first touch was poor and he gets away with it because he's fast. A better keeper comes and gets that in my opinion. Onkonkwo comes, stops, thinks about coming again and tries to cover his angles. Rumarn dinks it over him. Beautiful. But someone - ideally a striker coach, if we do those things these days - needs to tell him his first touch was poor. It's not personal, or mugging the lad off - its coaching. |

Poor first touch for his goal but he only got any touch at all because he's so fast and he's so fast he didn't need another. Lovely finish. #meepmeep |

Great post but think its disingenuous to suggest not selling Dieng, Dickie and Willock was down to Les when he's said it was the owners decision. |
