Thanks. The back pain isn't directly affecting my sleep patterns. I just don't seem to be bale to get comfortable to drop off for a long sleep. I sleep in stages in a 24 hr period. |

Thanks. I paid for an MRI last year and that is how the facet joint degeneration was picked up. I have been with 2 physio's since last August. One was using Shockwave therapy as well as dedicated exercises, which I have carried on since August. The pain is local and comes on when standing or walking for 5 mins. Its like severe back spasms and then pain mainly on the left lower back. Doesn't go down my legs. Its weird because I have movement pain free other than standing and walking. Tried cycling but that got more painful the more I did. The pain when it comes on is an 8/10 and I have to sit down or lean on something to get relief. I am overweight certainly but I have been since I packed up football in 2004. Its a catch 22. Would love to go on walks, but cant get past 400m's before the pain comes on. I retired early In 21 at 53 years old with plans to play golf and go travelling around the UK. In reality I've been stuck at home. Would give my right nut to walk pain free now. Thanks again. |

Has anyone ever been diagnosed with this, and if so, how did you get a positive outcome with pain management? Have been suffering with back pain when standing and walking now for nearly 4 years! Have tried chiropractor, acupuncture and physio's. No improvement. I am now waiting to see an orthopaedic surgeon. I've read about injections, Radiofrequency ablation, Microdiscectomy, Laminectomy, Foraminotomy, Facetectomy and Lumbar interbody fusion. (a lot of tomy's) Any advice greatly appreciated. |

Well done Rangers. Good win to pick people up. I would have preferred to see Esquerdinha come on for Colback instead of Fox who is probably off. Nitpicking maybe. Varane played really well. A little more quiet in the 2nd half. Edwards immense. Kolli great work rate and effort when on from half time. Makes me feel more positive for next season. Just need to keep the injuries down. |
