As mentioned on the Millwall dilemma thread, it's our golden wedding anniversary on Saturday. I should be back in time for tea though?

Agree about this film - we saw it on Saturday. Initially concerned about the length, but the 168 minutes flew by!

Golly, I wonder what my collection of CDs, cassettes and vinyl is worth? - got lots, including vinyls (I've always called them LPs) of 1960s/70s vintage. Happily I can still play them all on my stack that includes a Thorens deck that I bought in about 1971?

Also - Let's go by the Routers - clap *9 ... 'RANGERS!'

An old git writes: The lion sleeps tonight was by The Tokens and some time in the 1980s by Tight Fit. The funniest version was by The Muppets!

We seem to be making bad choices, over-hit passes and poor first touch when we do get some good opportunities.

How about a few “not a lot of people know thats”

That reminded me of a passage in George Orwell's "Down and Out in Paris and London", where he describes the "two-penny hangover," a grim Victorian shelter where the truly destitute could pay to sit on a bench and lean over a rope for rest, falling forward when the rope was cut at dawn. This lodging experience, including the "penny sit-up" and the "four-penny coffin", exemplifies the extreme conditions of poverty he witnessed

I was told that 70 is the new 50 - still the resultant Driving awareness course wasn't too bad
