Yes it’s over the top I loved it ..players and fans celebrating together…leaving the ground with a smile on a high is great. Also thought the last 2 Saturday early Kick offs the atmosphere has been good a big improvement from last few seasons when it’s been a bit dead. I am enjoying the wins while they last …
Noticed yesterday the steward check my bag more thoroughly than usual and asked a whole if questions including did I have a knife on me any sharp object any bottles. I had none just packet crisps sandwich. No patting down this time . All done politely so no complaints. Usually a cursory look in the bag and your in…might just be what steward you get.
The game got quite testy at times and I was impressed how we stood up to the physical challenge of the game and the players handled it well when the Stoke players tried to wind them up. Their number 9 was handled well by Mbengue and he got taken off as he was getting wound up. Good to see us the match the more physical sides.
Flying out of the old Tenerife aero port on Dan Airways in the 1980s terrible turbulence the whole way home terrifying… the steward advised they had run out of sick bags as soon as many people were throwing up …all toilets closed … unbelievable smell ..overhead lockers opening 4.5 hour journey from hell…
Well done Kieran he has progressed very well in a short space of time…very nice from the club…any aspiring young player thinking of a team to progress your career a good advertisement. I like how he felt at home in a friendly environment right from the off seems like the club creating a great place to be from the start.
Be interesting to see if Parkinson can get the new signings and existing players to gel and hit the ground running. They look like good signings and will see how that pans out…fingers x we get something out of the game on Saturday if we get smythe Saito and Dembele at them down the flanks we might get some joy given the perceived defensive frailties the oppos flagged.
Great interview Clive proper questions..he came across well and realistic about us as a club ...consistency and winning more home games is a good aspirations. His dream to work with the same set of players for 3 yrars a bit underwhelming...a cup run top 10 or even top 6 as a dream would be nice to hear...but yes he is being realistic ad we have to be and have been for a few years now.
Bugger did not realise you can recind a down vote...never intentionally down voted anyone but have accidentally done a few .so of I have to anyone sorry!!!
Very glad to be wrong well played rangers not perfect but massive improvement…but for there goalie who made a couple of good saves could have 2 more. We did fade end of the first half and beginning of second. Difficult to judge from G block but looked like Walsh got his feet wrong for their goal…his kicking still needs improvement and has habit of dropping the ball rather than a clean catch which on another day we could have been punished. Koki coming on really changed the game what an impact winning free kicks so much energy and brilliant taken goal…big up Kone too looks like he could score a few. An enjoyable game well done Rs.
