I don’t want to go too early on this one; but all the signs are there for QPR to follow them closely now.

Our acquisitions from summer ‘24 are starting to really kick on (Madsen, Varane, (I include Saito), Morrison) AND our this summer we have bought three of the best players from league One (Kone, Burrell, Mbebgue). And then you look at a strong supply of youth coming through (Morgan, Kolli. Etc).

That’s a lot of good talent which will increase in value and take us upwards in the process.

He’s inherited a great squad from Robin which has been built over a number of years. I guess even a clown would win a clown car race in a Ferrari.

I wonder if Chair could adapt his game to play quarterback like Bannon and Swift have recently.

Quick question for any HR experts
at 18:40 9 Sep 2025

It’s not easy for employers - particularly privately owned SME’s.
Pay rises /reviews are there to incentivise and retain staff and if someone is leaving, the money is better spent elsewhere (including recruitment fees for replacement staff).
Appreciate this probably isn’t a popular view, but it’s tough out there for many employers as well.

Playing Walsh after the 7-1 defeat
at 06:56 31 Aug 2025

Meanwhile in Q block, some of the resident morons thought it would be helpful to chant “we want our Nardi back” when Walsh made a mistake.

Last home match it was a dad being kicked out having started homophonic chanting in front of his three young daughters (and of course it was the police in the wrong and not him).

Love this club, but there are some absolute choppers in our midst.

BURRELL ASSIST.....

So nice to potentially have a great strike partnership for the first time in ages (Wells & Hugill? - and even then half that partnership was questionable and neither had re-sale value).

Really intelligent forward. Everything about him oozes quality.

Might have that mythical 20 goal a season striker?

Wouldn’t trust your track record of securing a pub which is actually showing QPR on sky TV, Hibs. 😜

Not sure the premium would make the insurance worth while! Especially at QPR.

The fitness team has decreed him too fit for this stage in the season. They’re fattening him up through august, ready to hit the ground (while) running in September.

This I fear is true. Although o had hoped Kolli would be given a golden opportunity to play 10?… add a bit of height and dynamism to the attacking midfield.

Jamie Vardy
at 08:44 20 Aug 2025

That would be the most QPR thing to do. Lose League one’s top scorer because you never played him when he was at QPR (blocked by Austin), Raid league one for the next two best strikers and then bring Vardy in after one game of the new youngsters not scoring because you’re worried they might not be very good - fast forward three years, QPR are 16th in the championship with no Vardy and two great young strikers refusing to sign an extension to their contract… hold the salad, just give me the sugar rush.

…why not? We are QPR.
