Can see the club ‘bank-rolling’ the women’s team into the WSL. Still at the stage where that would be relatively cheap but would provide a ROI for the club plus a winning mentality. |

Don’t like to see any club suffer and there go QPR but by the grace of God; but sheff Wednesday do grind my gears - certainly not humble in victory (goblin child Bannon goading Q block) or gracious in defeat (the grizzling that Lloyds last minute equaliser brought on was phenomenal). |

I generally agree QPR will be in the top six of financially well run clubs - but I would place Millwall and Knobend ahead of QPR. Very similar restrictions but no rich benefactor bank rolling an additional (permissible) loss. [Post edited 29 Jun 9:50]

Two reasons in all probability - first is the obvious premier league club to 16th championship dwellers and the second is the reduced capacity/closing off of parts of the stadium over that time. |

Totally agree. Of course, part of the problem with not engaging with supporters is that you don’t really understand what floats their boat (or otherwise) - as nourry has again demonstrated with this move - akin to farting in an elevator. |

I won’t be going to the brentfart one. Just can’t take them seriously - by all accounts it should be like it was in the mid 90’s with massimo Mauro pulling the strings in midfield at their derelict old stadium. Sorry. |

It’s in locksbottom (Bromley), not oxshott (Surrey). |

I hope my last post has contextualised the difference we’re seeing in the last five years and the impact it’s having where girls are not quaintly learning a new skill or having a go, but being encouraged and supported to develop their talent to the best of their ability with the same level of opportunity that boys have had all these years - this is new and the change will show. My 13 year old daughter has grown up watching QPR men’s team and is a huge football fan. Thankfully this is just at a time when women’s football is starting to gain real popularity. She’s playing in the sussex league (11 aside, full size pitches for 70mins a match throughout august to February in the rain and wind) - She’s been on the Brighton pathway academy (credit to them - they are so good in the local community) - the Sussex league structure has 48 teams in her age group… that’s just sussex u14’s league - there’s dozens of counties and loads of age groups - the girls game is growing and will be a very high standard in five-ten years. I have to say I’ve been impressed with the growing standard of football in girls football. Because of her 7 years of watching QPR in an actual stadium rather than the millions of kids (mainly boys) watching YouTube clips of Ronaldo/Messi); she reads the game incredibly well and also has quite an engine on her which is great for her as a midfielder. Do I care about women’s football? Yes, I do because i can see how good it’s going to be and because it brings my daughter and I so much fun and time together. Here’s the thing - generally there are ‘open leagues’ up to the age of 13 (mixed boys and girls) then teams are split by gender as the physicality changes - I won’t say that the England women will ever be able to physically compete with the England men’s team, but given a lifetime of training, which not even our very own Chloe Kelly benefitted from, I think some of these emerging girls will be as technically gifted (if not better) than the men - that said I just appreciate both games on their own merits. Finally, I mentioned about the Brighton academy - my daughters favourite womens team is, you’ve Guessed it, Brighton - and I can’t blame her given all that they’ve invested in her and all they do in the community… let’s get behind QPR ladies football for this exact reason. I agree Stejskal was far better than Roberts, but every now and then he would have a meltdown 90 mins like that 3-1 defeat against palace. Absolute shocker… he then got dropped. |

Incompetent club - whether it’s a feasibility study to develop Loftus Rd or a great manager, we will always find a way to pass on the opportunity. |

A number of players who are in contract next season (Lloyd, Nardi, Chair) featured in the ‘we are together’ season ticket campaign video the other week. None of the senior players who are out of contract (eg Cook, Dunne, Colback) appeared - regardless of seniority. Marti, who is in contract, doesn’t appear. Hope I’m not reading too much into that. |

It’s about identity. (Which Millwall have in abundance) - For all QPR’s talk about identity; when we brought in warburton back in 2019 - at the point that Critchley left, the owners had their usual brain fart and veered into a totally different direction with Ainsworth. Then having decimated the warbs-Beale-Critchley ‘game model’ (TM) squad through Ainsworth; when we sacked Ainsworth and veered back towards Marti-ball we needed a major re-build. …if QPR would just stick to a plan we’d have a hope! |

One with yellow detailing (like the influence one) would be nice - I liked that one a few years back. Big thing for me is no gambling sponsor. if theres a betting company on the front, I won’t buy it. |

I’ve asked Chat GPT-Nourry and the following came back… “The perfect QPR (Queens Park Rangers) kit should pay tribute to the club’s history, its West London roots, and its iconic look—while adding a modern edge for today’s fans. Here’s a breakdown of what that could look like: Home Kit: Classic with a Modern Twist Shirt: Traditional blue and white hoops (not broken—keep them full wraparound). Thin white collar or a simple crew neck in white. Subtle detailing like tonal embossing of Loftus Road or the founding year (1882). Small inner-neck print: “We Are QPR”. Sponsor: Minimalist and not too loud—ideally in a color that matches the kit (white or blue). Badge: Embroidered, with a subtle sheen—classic crest, not the newer abstract versions. Sleeves: Hoops continued fully across, with blue cuffs. Shorts: Solid white, with a thin blue trim down the side. Subtle QPR badge near the hem. Socks: Blue with white hoops, to keep the kit balanced. “QPR” subtly stitched on the back. Away Kit: A Bold Tribute Color: Deep red or black (QPR has a history of both as away colors). Design: Diagonal sash or a gradient pattern—something unique but tasteful. Details: Gold or silver trim to make it pop. “Rangers” stitched into the back of the neck. Third Kit: Fan-Favorite Revival Bring back something cult-classic—like the ’90s orange and grey, or a retro-inspired green and white quarters. Add subtle nods to old kits, like sleeve trims or throwback fonts for the numbers.” |
