If those planes are so valuable how come they were protected by a fence that my Gran could have got over ? And £7m to remove some red paint ? Starmer defended people who broke into war bases during the Iraq war saying it was an act of conscience. Now he’s prosecuting pensioners for holding a placard using the same laws used against extremist groups. It’s a farce of their own making. The police are being used and put in an impossible position by the Govt. Over a 1000 people arrested. Looking forward to seeing the courts completely clogged up. They won’t even be prosecuted making it even more of a joke. |

Are they a problem where you are ? Feckers ride the streets and parks with their face covered ion illegal E bikes must be going 30 or 40 mph. Police aren’t interested of course. Complaints are referred to the Neighbourhood team. Now if it was a nasty tweet they would be round like a shot. |

Whether she made a mistake based on poor advice or knew what she was doing doesn’t really make a difference. She must own it and will almost certainly be sacked or will resign. When she looks in the mirror the real question she should ask is why, as a working class person, has she been an integral part of deliberate attempt to destroy the parties roots and betray the very people it’s supposed to represent. Labour seems more intent on arresting people for waving flags than tackling inequality and injustice.
As for Farage - a few minutes researching this charlatan will show you what he is about and what a disaster it will be if he is elected as PM. |

Don’t know where you live Ron but I see a Britain in decline. Fly tipping is rife and the streets are full of litter and twots tags everywhere. Homelessness and street drinking has risen dramatically making some areas unpleasant to visit. Add to that the dire public transport system and increasingly clogged roads we really need to have a good long look at things. Our Parliament is more akin to Hogwarts. And if people think stopping people coming across the channel in boats will sort everything out are deluded. |

I’m no fan of hers or any of the current Labour Party leadership but just for clarity she owns 2 houses and does pay tax. She didn’t pay the correct amount of stamp duty on a property she bought in Hove. The other home is in her constituency and the third is a ministerial home provided for her as Deputy PM. She doesn’t own it. She should have paid the stamp duty correctly. |

I know the difference between evasion and avoidance. I have my views on it but won’t bother here. Regarding the players. They are not children. They are responsible for their own decisions. I am merely saying that the likes of Danny Murphy Rio Ferdinand and others were or are very wealthy. The fact that they lost millions because they failed to carry out due diligence or trusted someone they shouldn’t have is not on a par with the post office scandal, the WASPI women and others. Callous or not but I have little or no sympathy for wealthy people using tax avoidance schemes to obtain even more wealth. Some might say greed got the better of them. |

Why should people already earning a good living avoid paying tax. Taxes pay for our NHS our schools and our defences. I worked all my life earning a modest living and paid my taxes. Sorry but footballers earning more in a week than I earnt all year are hardly at the top of my concerns. |

I’ve become what I have always been. A Saints fan who has seen some great sides and some absolute dire ones. It is what it is. I also am enjoying the Championship. Not bothered about the Premier League at all. |

I also watched the Saints teams way back and would say last seasons was the worse I’ve seen. We are still seeing the fall out from last year. Anyone thinking we would turn things round in a matter of weeks is deluded. It’s going to take time and with our new recruits and a few out the door we are already seeing improvements. What makes you think a very poor side from last year would waltz up under a new manager and storm the Championship ? Give the manager a chance ffs. |
