 | Forum Reply | We should get around 1500 or more tickets for Charlton? at 10:55 7 Oct 2025
With the priority sale now on for JackArmy members, there should be a significant number of new members, just joining so that they can jump the queue. It should sell out without ever going on public sale. |

I think 3-1 was a fair reflection. They hit the woodwork 3 times, as well as the 3 goals. I can barely remember their keeper making a decent save, other than the shots from Vipi and Tymon. Our long range shooting ended up in the stands when normally it's very good. We had a lot of possession but did very little with it. So 3-1 for me is fair. |

It seems to me that Burgess is the on field leader and Cabango just wears the armband. It reminds me of Alun Wyn Jones being the Wales leader while Warburton wore the armband. Maybe we need a few more to be vocal as well, but that is normally players who have been there a while, rather than the new recruits, of which we have many. |
 | Forum Reply | I said I would be happy with 12th. at 21:56 4 Oct 2025
On hearing Darling and O'Brien were leaving in the summer, I'd have been happy with 12th. After the transfer window, not so happy. We have to start winning at home. Just one win out of 5 games, and that was against the bottom team. The back-to-back home games against QPR and Norwich are now huge. |

I'd swap them around, so that our 'hooligan corner' is behind the goals and the away fans are stuck in the corner. The main reason is for penalties and penalty shoot-outs in the cup games. Far better that these penalties are taken in front of our own fans, rather than in front of the away fans. The family area needs to remain as far from the away fans as possible, so that would stay in the South stand. |
 | Forum Reply | How many points? at 11:59 3 Oct 2025
I go on the basis of 3 points for every home game and 1 point for every away give should give automatic promotion. Currently Coventry have 4 wins and 4 draws to meet that target, and they are in the automatic spots. It would give 92 points over the course of the season, which should be good enough in most seasons. We have 3 of our next 4 league games at home, so we need to make a move. By then a quarter of the season will be over. |

We were discussing at the start of the season, whether the bounce after Williams was down to Sheehan or Lewis O'Brien. We thought that we would soon find out, yet somehow we are still wondering. The jury has been out a long time and we still don't have the answer. If we win, then it's probably a place in the play-offs positions. Anything else, and it's 5 home games with just one win, by 1-0, against the worst team in the league. |

Wagner: "but if I was to root against Villa or Wolves in our immediate area then I am rooting against clubs in the Birmingham area and lessening the quality of Birmingham football. "Manchester United and City are two great clubs in the same city, London have a lot of great crosstown rivals, so why wouldn't we want that for Birmingham to increase the interest?" This was the bit I found interesting. We are in a similar situation. We need 3 teams in the Championship. The rivalry will encourage all the Welsh teams to greater heights. Alan Curtis made similar points at the end of last season. Fixture release day has a buzz about it with everybody looking for the Swansea v Cardiff fixture. He said it just wouldn't be the same in 2025/26. He was right; it was all a bit flat. He also said how 22 fixtures are all about the match day, but Swansea v Cardiff is match week. The build up is off the charts. So that bit about rivalry made sense to me. |

Excellent post. Indeed, where are we? We lie 8th with 3 wins, but those 3 wins have been against the bottom 3 teams. We have just one win at home, but 2 on the road. So where are we at? If we have any ambitions of top 6, then this weekend is a must win. We're not scoring many goals, but then again, we're not conceding many. So yes, Saturday really will be a yardstick of where we are. |

Isn't everyone a season ticket holder??? |

We've just had our email with the booking form. It's £169, rather than £150 that was on the rumour mill. Non-season ticket holders are £199. The ticket office seem on the ball with this one, though it may be the hospitality section rather than the main ticket office. |

It's £199 for the Alan Curtis Club for non-season ticket holders and they will be available in 6 days time, after season ticket holders have made their mind up. That's a lot cheaper than the Platinum fixtures; Wrexham, Birmingham City, W.B.A. and Charlton Athletic at £227. It's the same price as the Norwich City game. We'll see if prices follow a similar pattern in the rest of the stadium. |

Cardiff got a penalty yesterday and the Wigan player had a red card. If only we'd have had that referee! |

It's cost us 3 points this week, never mind over a season. Add in the penalty that wasn't given against Notts Forest. The other factor is how many yellow cards we get compared to how few fouls we commit. It seems way higher than the others. |

No, this is what I think they should be charging. I have explained why further up the thread, with regard to PSR etc. We need to improve our financial position before the next transfer window, This is the ideal opportunity. The real Jack Army can't have it both ways. Cheap tickets will leave us with cheap players. The financial losses of the last two years can't continue. |
 | Forum Reply | 12.30pm Kick Off Tomorrow at 19:34 27 Sep 2025
Maybe just one shot on target over 90 minutes is part of it. Their keeper didn't make a single save in the entire match. Our customary 100 back passes per game won't get the turnstiles turning. More excitement please. |
 | Forum Reply | 🏆Who do you want in fourth round of the league cup ? 🏆THE DRAW at 19:18 27 Sep 2025
It's £150 a ticket apparently for season ticket holders. Given that Wrexham has sold out at £227 for non-season ticket holders, that seems fair enough. I was talking to one of the members in there today. He had enquired about the cheapest hospitality seats at Arsenal. They start at £500 a match. I don't think our prices are too far out of sync. |
