True to a degree but to get so many injuries there must be something wrong in how we train and recover and how they prepare for match days. He hires the people responsible. And also this is on the back of a season where our injury record was terrible. I would have thought a the most important priority would have been to make sure we improve that area. But we’ve got worse.
Also - it’s been how long since we were told anything about injuries? 3 weeks? We are made to guess and make assumptions based on photos and videos of training uploaded. Dunne is the captain. Think it’s reasonable to have an update on him at least. It’s Thursday…… |

Exactly. Been about 3 weeks since we had one if not more. Loads of key players not in training video. I hate admitting I was wrong about Nourry and communication but I think I’m almost there. The whole situation is ridiculous and we’re treated like idiots. |

I like to think I’m neither. Nor do I think that split or talking about it like that is helpful. But I’m sure I’d be viewed a pro Nourry. I’m probably at lowest view on Nourry this week given the squad our manager has to pick from. |

I was not optimistic but relatively relaxed about this season. But the first games are “good” ones, we need to start well, in case it turns out like last year. And it’s practically impossible for the new manager to do so with all these injuries and the amount of youth players he needs to play and bring into the squad. I saw that 17 development players were with 1st team, that sounds great but it’s a huge concern that our first team squad is injury prone. |

Let’s not just post nonsense. Why would we offer less money than we offered him 1 year ago after the season he had? It’s either no offer or the same / better. What you’re saying makes no sense at all. |

I liked our recruitment over the summer and I also like the aim to get the squad much younger, develop and sell. That’s the priority. We do need a left back, cover central mid and at least 1 more striker. But I was reasonably happy.
But now if our recruitment has led to the new manager having to select from the group of players in the training video for our first match, then our recruitment hasn’t worked. It’s a vital game and to have so many players out is absolutely ridiculous. |

They rave about Poku. And then like our manager appointment when compared to some of the other clubs. Then you combine it with Dunne, Chair, Demebele and Varane makes us dark horses. That’s their view anyway.
I’m less concerned about central mid if Varane and Field are fit. Some cover would be nice. Issue as said is left back and of course a fit and fast forward. |

Dunne was signed during crazy spending era and part of very expensive squad. Nelson was signed in premier league. Not sure what Rangel wages would have been but doubt anywhere near the 30k rumoured here. We don’t have income to support that type of wage. We have to stick to a wage structure and not just bin it when we feel like it. |
