Ok, fair enough on all those points. Can’t really disagree with any of them.

Amazed you’re able to write more than 1 word on yesterday!

Because it causes issues at qpr.

Anyway, the truth will come out who leaked it soon enough. Sky sports isn’t exactly known for discretion!

But that’s where we differ no? You and quite a few here seem to think it’s Marti vs Nourry. And you’ve got to pick a side. Nourry hasn’t don’t anything good being one example since he joined. It’s borderline mental to say that he hasn’t done one single thing of any benefit to the club since he joined.

Of course if I had to choose I would go for Marti. I’m not singing Nourry songs at games. I don’t know the guy. But neither do I think he’s the anti-Christ. We will be in a better position next season with Marti as manager. I’ve no doubt about that. I don’t want him to go. But I also think the “reasons” for him being unhappy and wanting to resign are nonsense. Yes irritating about the medical guy and not getting a fee kick coach but come on! Sit down next week or after Sunderland and get things sorted. They are hardly major problems.

I don’t understand why last week, the Ian Mc article didn’t come from Marti? Now this “leak” had to come from the club / Nourry? I get many don’t like him but we’ve got to be balanced about it. Maybe Marti just wants to leave.

Why don’t you think West Brom could have leaked it?

Or maybe clever of Marti to let the news out last week that he was unhappy over a few areas. Issue is that leak came via West Brom…..so now he looks a little foolish.

I presume we will get paid by West Brom for this? Must be some compensation due? With that and some Eze money, we’ll be rolling in it! Time to spunk it all on Jamie Vardy’s wages! 🤦‍♂️

Such a huge relief not having to go through that. I’d be a wreck all week this week if it was us in Hull or Preston position. Not a game that is ever enjoyable to sit through.

It has to be the other club to cause disruption. Nothing to gain by it being marti or his agents. Timing is terrible especially given his messaging over the week.

Why does it have to be Nourry or Marti. I like Marti and he’s done a fantastic job. I think Nourry has done ok, think he’s done some good stuff but also some not so good. I want Marti to stay. But what I won’t do is just make things up to justify a point of view. Last week we had an article saying he was unhappy about medical guy and free kick coach. And he may resign because of that. I don’t believe either of those things are reasons to resign. Now we have this. If Marti wants to leave then fine but don’t make up that he’s being pushed with no facts.

So where are you getting the fact that they don’t want him? You’re guessing plain and simple.

No. Who at the club has said they don’t want him? Has Marti said that? You believe what you want to believe.

Good timing to get that article out last week with his “grievances” and then say “if he’s wanted he’ll stay”. Spanner in the works that leak came from the club his people met.

Heavy defeat to Burnley and the world has ended. We can’t compete with top 3 in this league. Our aim has to be mid table and occasionally get into the playoffs. Then who knows. And we build from there.

We weren’t a match for Burnley and maybe we should go into those games a bit like our away game against them. But you can’t judge the squad and the season based on that game. We’ve competed with Bristol and Coventry, could have beaten Cov home and away, and Bristol at home. We gave Sheffield a good game and Leeds at home.

Our issues are primarily threefold. 1) injures - we cannot lose our best players for long parts of the season eg JCS and Chair, now Field. And expect to replace with equally good players. We are not a Burnley or Leeds.
2) Consistency - Varane and Morgan are good young players. Don’t care what anyone says, both at various times have delivered in games. But for different reasons they have been inconsistent. As they play more in this league that will change.
3) Some weak areas in the side, being full back, striker and 1 more quality central midfielder. If we can strengthen those areas in the summer and sort the injuries out, we’ll be fine next season.

Agree but you also have to credit players that stepped up during that run and some big games recently.

I still stand by the fact that we are basically in line with last season points wise and will likely finish higher in the table. And we have done this without JCS for basically all of the season and without Chair for most of it (certainly at last seasons level). If you were told that beforehand, you would have bitten my hand off to finish where we have.

We are not Burnley or Leeds. We cannot afford to miss out best players for long periods.

Definitely in for the support for Marti chants today. As I always do! But not getting involved in any anti-Nourry stuff, as it’s all based on rumour.

Good spot. I thought it was just badly written and meant that Nourry vetoed Marti’s choice. Otherwise it makes no sense as you say.
