Yeah agree but that wasn’t really my point. I’m just giving my view on how I see it today. With the exposure the game gets now, it will improve and that’s a good thing. |

Agree 100% on Field and Varane. In ideal work you only need one in the eleven. But our ball retention in rest of side is so poor, that we need to players like this to win it back. We can still do well with these 2. |

I like watching England women’s team and will watch their games. But, I watch female athletes, tennis players, the rugby side, gymnasts and I’m a bit in awe of way they perform and levels they reach. For example the power the tennis shots are hit and the accuracy, any of the gymnast routines and the hits in the rugby…….I don’t quite get so impressed with women’s football. That’s not comparing it to men’s, it’s just when I compare to other women’s sports. The goal keeping is still very poor and I don’t understand why as an example. Players like Bronze and James are some exceptions, with power and skill they have. But it’s a minority for me. |

Hampshire, mainly Dawson, cheated so badly against Sussex the other day. He knew he’s caught with leg on boundary and celebrated like all above board. |

But if he wants to leave and price is right, what choice do we have. I don’t think we can say to him, look you are first choice this season. I think he’s a good player but he can’t be our first choice striker or number 10. |

Dunne, Morrison, Mbengue, Larkerche
Varane, Field, Vale
Poku, Kelman, Chair
Cook may be in centra back, or JCS, but I’m assuming both are out.
You mean get in a grizzly left back? I’d agree with that. But can’t we do that after we’ve taken a look at squad and assessed everything in pre season? |

He played half a season, was our best player. But he was a loan player. We haven’t even started to sign loan players yet. I’m sure we will when manager has assessed the squad. We also started our good run with Cook and Morrison at centre back. |

I didn’t say we’ll be fine. We need to get these players fit. But I don’t agree that we’re weaker than last season. That’s nonsense. Get them fit, give the manager time. |

But the squad has to be stronger than last season no? We haven’t lost anyone that people thought were good. I thought Paal was ok to be fair. But everyone is happy with the 2 new signings. So, surely we’re slightly better?
If you take your 1st xi, then bench would be: Walsh, Cook, Morgan, Madsen, Frey, Kolli, Smyth, Celar, Adamson
That’s certainly better than last season. We do need a decent left back. And we could do with getting Colback-like player as cover. But we’re QPR….we can’t have too big a squad. |
