This is the problem. Any ceasefire or peace deal that leaves Hamas in power will only lead to them regrouping, rebuilding and plotting more atrocities against Israel and also to their ‘own’ people. Israel have determined correctly that the only way to solve the problem in the long run is the utter obliteration of Hamas.
And it can’t come a day too soon. |

The fourteen years of Tory shambles was preceded by thirteen years of Blair and brown fundamentally ripping up the foundations of this country, and that was preceded by Major taking us into Maastricht, black Wednesday etc so arguably we’ve had about 35 years of shambolic government to set right. |

I used to think that too that they’d have no chance of winning the GE but with Corbyn and sultana going ahead with their new “your party” venture which will no doubt massively split the Labour vote and hoover up all the votes from the Muslims, anti semites and the far left nutters I now put reform as very strong favourites. |

It’s utterly crap. Just buffers constantly. I have good internet don’t have any issues with anything else but just can’t watch Swanstv. I shudder to think how much money I’ve pumped into it and not been able to watch it.
It’s no wonder people go to the dodgy streaming sites at least they work and are often better quality I’ve heard. |

That argument is an absolute nonsense argument. People generally don’t flee to those regimes and countries who are trying to attack, persecute or destroy them.
We didn’t see millions of Jews desperately trying to break into Nazi germany.
Similarly we didn’t see 13th century women flooding eastwards because they wanted some more of that hot Mongolian action. |

Which leads me to question who the hell advised her to plead guilty? And why?
I know they were told on a not guilty plea they would then be held in remand until the trial which could be a long time. Would this have influenced them all to plead guilty? |

It’s incredible we have a world left at all when we had so many evil regimes all around at pretty much the same time. The uk and the yanks get so much bad press when it comes to history but we really did save the world from these regimes on a number of occasions. I was reading about the fall of Germany the other day, as the Russians were approaching Berlin from the east and the allies approaching from the west. Many Germans including Nazi officers (often with the advice from the Fuhrer himself) fled west as it was perceived correctly that they would be treated far more humanely and with more decency if they were captured by the allies. |

How can anybody possibly defend this “deal”? We’ve willingly signed away something we already had and are now paying through the nose to continue using it.
Uk taxpayers now face a tax rise to pay for people thousands of miles away to get a tax cut.

I don’t think reform will be any good at all. But when you’ve had decades and decades of both the Tories and Labour messing things up and the country seemingly in a state of perpetual managed decline what other options are there? Plaid, the greens etc seem to be much of a muchness. It’s only reform offering anything like an alternative.
And this country is crying out for a change. |

It absolutely beggars belief that a “homelessness minister” is actually needed to be a thing in 2025 when millions stream in for god knows where and have the red carpet rolled out to them.
It’s almost as unbelievable as them choosing her to be it. |
