Joan on ITV X I’m three episodes in and think it’s great. They’ve captured the 80’s brilliantly in it with some great attention to detail Good storyline (can’t believe it’s actually a true story) and some great acting |

I’m watching this but it really is Guy Ritchie trying to out Guy Ritchie himself All a bit much Brosnan and Mirren are pretty shite in it for me; their accents are an abomination It reminds me a bit of a cross between Black Doves and Gangs of London |

Are you mad.... don't you appreciate his immense determination and an infectious drive? I do. I liked him from his debut. His movement in the box was on a different planet to Dykes (mind you.... so is mine) but he is a man you'd want with you in the trenches. The fella can finish and will not be bullied. Okay... we'd all like to see him as an ever present and never injured. He get's stick for not having pace but he's more mobile than people give him credit. I'd love a pacey, brave, no nonsense striker who scores every game but those days are gone. Nice one Michi.... see you next season |

If he's proud of his mentoring of Paul Furlong (assuming he did) then yep, great, I'm with that. As has been noted - his tenure brought us nothing like this and nothing like the breakthroughs we're seeing now. I know Kolli gives him credit, and he was too young before, but I just can't equate the current success with my old mate Benny. Now Paul Furlong.... love that geezer and absolute props to him this evening |

Got to be a United win for me It’ll rank way, way down on their achievements Whereas Spuds would be crowing about it…. They ideally need to be 1 up going into 85th minute and United bag two late goals. Keep Spurs Spursy!!! |

Same I was on my IOSHH course that was actually a residential one held in the outskirts of Bradford. Course tutor was an ex fireman who had attended that day. He said before he put the video on. "If anyone needs to leave or be emotional during or after this video please do. If anyone says anything untoward about someone doing so or takes this lightly then I'll throw you out the window. And I mean it" 14 blokes working in building site management and I swear to God I've never seen blokes so shocked and shaken.... couple of us did get a touch wobbly as we were regular football fans and it resonated with us. Respect fire - it's not to be messed with |

They could be onto something.. "Football is not necessarily central to the project. The Thames is the star attraction, not the playing field" If we could make the A40 a feature we've nailed it. There's been virtually zero on the playing field for the last few years to warrant any attraction at W12 I used to like a bit of corporate now and then but... my God... |
 | Forum Reply | Severe facet joint degeneration L5 - S1 at 06:40 11 May 2025
Apologies been meaning to reply but a busy time. Replying now due to insomnia caused by Tramadol which I’ve taken due to back pain!!! You’re actually quite lucky. I have prolapsed disc L5/S1 which is the most common My journey has spanned decades culminating in a discectomy with laminectomy in 2022 done on sort of an emergency basis as the sciatica pain was approaching 10 out of 10. Back pain saps the life out of many; it’s been a big contributory factor in me having to now only frequent football matches rarely; season ticket of 33 years gone and haven’t done an away game since 2020 (seen this club play at over 70 grounds) Your facet joint will be impinging a nerve. Kin nasty. It sounds like your disc is not ruptured/prolapsed which is a huge plus; also the nerve compression isn’t causing classic sciatica as you have no leg pain. I would certainly follow advice already given. Lose weight. Move - swimming sounds your friend as you’re now mentally locked in that walking hurts. Look into facet joint injections. If you have these do not expect them to work straight away. My first lot took three weeks to kick in and they don’t work for everyone. If they do then this allows you to step up your self care but don’t push too far too quick. Unfortunately, they don’t last and the body can become used to them meaning little effect. I ended up needing double doses and after that the relief became negligible. Next step for me was a Rhizotomy. This made my pain worse for about two weeks and I did think about taking a hit out on my surgeon during that period (!!!) Once this kicked in it was like liquor from the Gods…. for the first time in years I was totally pain free and “normal again”. Oh how I miss that feeling! My fear was the lack of nerve signal would give me false confidence and I’d cause more damage by over extending myself but my surgeon assured me that was extremely unlikely. He was wrong and my disc herniated even further due to two trauma incidents. The pain was off the scale and if the solution had been amputation of my left leg I probably would have done it. As I said, then had discectomy with laminectomy. The discectomy failed after 2 weeks (if it weren’t for bad luck I’d have no luck at all) but thank fark I had the laminectomy as this has given the nerve space to “be free”. I have flare ups and it’s horrible but I get relief from Pilates So…. Best of luck and stay positive Work your core; lose weight. Get some specialist stretches and do these regularly Try to avoid surgery or surgical interventions; really are a last resort Use heat / ice to reduce inflammation (I try saunas and ice baths which can help) Maybe consider an inversion bench - I have one which also helps but not sure it would you as the disc isn’t your issue I’m considering low dose gummy bears….. not found a dealer yet though!!! If you can stay away from Tramadol and certainly Napraxen (that nearly killed me due to internal bleeding side effect….my luck again!!!) Speak to a decent Reformer Pilates instructor - might help Stay positive - a life with reduced pain is out there Get it to a level where you can just have it in the background |

Just got back from court where I’d been sentenced for stealing 3 calendars The judge threatened me with 36 months but said I had to be back in front of him in 52 weeks after an assessment done on me I told him it’s a date |
