I’d go for Pink Floyd with a couple of guest guitarists making appearances, Mark Knopfler and Mike Oldfield - would love to see Oldfield have a crack at Comfortably Numb alongside David Gilmore. Would also love to see Gilmour take lead guitar on the Mike Oldfield track Man On The Rocks from 4 mins in where his talent would add just a little extra to that track. Would be great to see.
If we are going to bring people back then Bowie would be my first choice, just one more time.
Not sure, but I don’t think the last contributor on the video could believe it…
This, and news of Rylan getting the boot on the same day - let’s go for the hat trick and get news that we have signed Bamford on a pay-as-you-play deal to cover Ross Stewart’s latest flirtation with the treatment table.
The answer may be to use Private Browsing. Open the site in a PB window or tab, you can then just accept all cookies, however, when you exit the site the PB window or tab wipes all cookies, it leaves nothing on your phone or PC. It also takes out the log in info so you have to log back in when you access the site again. As long as you make sure your browser has a saved password function enabled it is just two clicks for me to log back in.
So, open the UI site in a PB window (one click for me), accept cookies (one click) then log in (two more clicks as the saved password kicks in as long as you have stored it) job done. Then when you leave the UI site the PB wipes the slate clean, no trace of any cookies are left behind. Certainly better than having to do over 100 clicks for sure.
Import the spray they use to repel bears in the States - it’s basically pepper spray on steroids! In mega sized canisters, it delivers a huge blast of spray at every squeeze of the trigger and certainly one these little runts would not come back to face for a second time in a hurry. Seen it used on a few road rage instant karma videos online as some Americans have taken to carrying in their cars just in case they need it. Certainly works a treat from what I have seen.
Quite right Mush, I met the last man on the Moon, Gene Cernan, at the Science Museum about 20 years ago. They have a space exploration section there including a lunar lander. He did a talk for about 45 minutes about his personal memories of that Apollo 17 mission describing it as his most beautiful adventure. My daughter, who was about 9 at the time, was one of two kids chosen to help him with a demo during his talk. As a result we were invited to stay behind after his talk had finished. He spent about 10 mins singing autographs and posing for pictures then spent over half an hour chatting to me & my daughter. She got to go up the steps and into the lunar lander! On STRICT instructions to touch nothing!! Even so, an amazing moment to see her appear from the lander at the top of the steps when you think of what that meant in context. Fascinating guy to talk to, an infectious smile and was still so passionate about the further exploration of space. Half an hour of my life I will never forget. Sadly he passed away in early 2017, A brilliant guy. GC RIP.
Never mind the reserves, it looks like Liverpool are going to play some Academy players on Tuesday night - and knowing our luck plus Isak up front!
The article [link below] only says they will be in the squad but if they do play 4 Academy players against us, SR will probably put a deposit down on two of them for the January transfer window.

If you gave half the teams in this division either the kind of money SR have spent this summer or the residual £62m profit from this summer after the window shut they would nigh on guarantee to deliver you a promotion winning side, but seemingly not these clowns.
And, Sheffield Wednesday, a club in utter chaos with a threadbare squad and a total d1ckspanner for an owner are currently 2-0 up away at Portsmouth, a bog standard championship side we could not raise a fist to in anger at SMS last Sunday. Let that also sink in as we go further behind up on Humberside…
Some yacht for sure, cost approx £280m to buy and is available to lease at €3m per week - plus expenses!! Crew of 40 to keep it going. Wonder if Khan comes to a game we would see it moored up alongside Fulham’s new state of the art main stand with the swimming pool and terrace built into the roof?
Not that I know of, I just don’t think he made the cut. According to flashscore the only Saints players showing as unavailable were Wellington with an ankle injury and Aribo & Edozie who were showing as inactive / lacking match fitness. Piroe (surplus to requirements in the PL at Leeds) would have been ideal - and probably about the same money as Downs. You’d get 15/20 goals a season out of Piroe, you won’t get that out of Downs at the moment, if ever.
Fair comment SW, but I still maintain SR have failed to deliver what was needed, that being, a striker for the here & now, ready to go, proven record in this division, not another promising one for the future. Great to have that future planning in place but the simple fact is we need (going a bit Boris Johnson here 🙂) someone oven ready not someone that still needs more time / preparation. This is a brutal division to get out of and demands excellence for an awful lot of games to stand any realistic chance of a top two finish. I don’t disagree that we signed a CF but IMO one that will need time whereas we needed one who should have played his fifth league game of the season today and scored at least two or three goals by now and turned a couple of our draws into wins.
Quite right - what makes me really annoyed is that we take a step forwards by signing an excellent winger in Fellows who has superb assist stats from last season and who showed glimpses of what he can do in the game today but who the hell is he going to assist at SMS? We don’t have a player to finish off the chances because, yet again, we have failed to buy the player we need - In theory if Stewart could replicate has Sunderland form then maybe we would have a player capable of providing the finishing touch but most of the time he is either injured or on the bench. As you rightly say, yet again SR fail to deliver on what is obviously one of the most important positions to get right. How many windows is it now since Ings left?
