Pains me to say this... but I think you are spot on... he is becoming a very decent manager
OK there is a lot said about him inheriting the teams from Robbins, but no denying he has taken them to the next level.. which is pretty good in itself
If does help that he is a respected figure in the game, and it seems his team is buying into what he wants.. |

Strange how a supporters life changes as he ages
Back in the day I would be at every game... no matter what or where it was. Getting home at silly o clock. Now I still think I do the majority but it changing
I don't think my support is waning .. I still get the rush when we win, and the deep never against, when we lose...
This year is perhaps the start of missing more games. I wasn't at Swansea... and I will also miss the Derby game... Mrs MinT birthday... and I can't remember a time where I missed 2 games...
But do agree with most, I much prefer the match day experience still over a stream or sky... though sitting in a ground freezing my nuts off I'd starting to wear thin
I will continue to go as long as I can... my brother is 80 next year and is starting to miss more and more games... this getting old is not what it is cracked up to be |

Got home late and missed the goal... but it look pretty atrocious there...
Saw the red card. Pretty silly of the Swansea lad but hey yo... you move your head towards another player it is red... Cook may have made a meal of it... but themselves the breaks
Getting worried about this pitch... the ball is starting to stick...just our luck we will have a Blackburn/ Ipswich scenario
Agree JS needs to bring Cook off on a yellow now... and Dunne as well... |

For me it was a baffling selection.
If you are Jack Cooper... what you want is to play against is an immobile lump like Frey....... that is just meat and drink to him
If there was ever a game where our miniature number 10s come into play with speed and trickery... thought this might have been the game..... JS thought differently
I'm the same here... no axe to grind with Frey... he seems a model pro... gives 100%.... and I definitely would not nick his pint on a Saturday night.... but a 2nd contract extension... |

For me think the club has not handle this very well... we seem to have got ourselves another Paal situation
Paal was hawked around expecting Watford to buy him... and when they never, he was expected to stay and carry on.
I guess we will never know if Paal was desperate to move on, or us desperate to get rid... but for me Paal was perhaps the only player from the Beale fiasco that actually kept turning up
Feel we are going down the same route with Nardi. He has a perfectly adequate 1st season with us. His form did dip towards the end, but every player has that..
So we decide to leave him out and play someone that, and let's be honest, is nowhere near as accomplished as Nardi... and now that has backfired... we want the lad back in ... afraid to say this is not good management
I'm in F section at SA so nearly on that 18 yd line... and I thought he had no chance of coming to claim that ball.... and I said on the thread at HT... Mbengue may have done better than Cook...
I thought Nardi did the right thing... made himself big and actually saved the 1st shot... and was really unlucky not saving the 2nd...
Personally I think Nardi is our number 1 keeper... he has flaws definitely... but he is light years ahead of Walsh at this moment in time [Post edited 19 Oct 5:23]
