Did you hear Rusk’s pre match press conference
When asked by Alfie House whether he was going with a back 4 or sticking with a back 5 Rusk said well the previous two managers have played a back 5 so that speaks for itself
Yeah exactly. It didn’t work for them either
Not particularly having a pop at Rusk because he’s on a hiding to nothing but he’s out of his depth
SR should have sacked Martin earlier and got an experienced manager in but having left it too late they should just have put Rusk in as caretaker to the end of the season

I’d love to keep him. I think him and Downes would be a strong pairing in the Championship but can we afford his wages. Chelsea will most likely loan him out to a French club or mid table PL club |

My favourite bit was when Ugochukwu scored and ran over to the fans beating his badge. You could see him start doing it in the excitement of scoring, suddenly realise that he’ll be gone at the end of the season, then he seemed unsure what to do for a couple of seconds and decided to carry on 😅😅
Shame we can’t keep him, I rate him |

Out of the managers we’ve been linked to he’s my favourite and what you have to remember is this was his first managerial appointment at the age of 32 two seasons ago. So he’s done a decent job just keeping them up with a basket case of an owner. In addition Röhl has experience with coaching roles at Saints, Bayern Munich and was assistant with the German national team so decent experience for a 35 year old.
Quite honestly though none of the candidates have inspired me and most have worried me. I’d just be happy if SR don’t appoint another complete disaster |

There’s been some players this season who deserve to be criticised but similarly there are some that have put an effort in
KWP imo is a model professional who will most likely move on and I’d wish him well wherever he went
Ramsdale is another who always puts in a performance
Fernandez is our best player this season and hasn’t had a bad game as far as I can recall. What I like about him is he is still giving 100% when we’re 3-0 down. I hope he stays
IMO Bednarek usually puts in a decent performance and effort and you can see it hurts when we lose
Manning although limited as a PL player always puts 100% in
Other than those I think the rest of the players owe us some performances |

Not exactly swerving it but I’ll be in Leeuwarden taking my grandad to see the mighty Cambuur’s promotion push
Nice to go into a game highly expecting a win. Having said that with Villa needing a big performance in Europe next week I this is a good time to play them, plus our players will be more positive now that they’re not playing Death metal football 😅
When he said Death Metal football did that refer to the fact that we were dead each game after he released his team sheet |
