Keeping him in goal after Coventry was a gamble but 100% the right call, but I’d now be looking to get him out on loan and bring someone in, we’ve set him up to fail by not getting him games on loan last year but it’s not too late to rectify that. |

I think most can see there's a player there which is what makes him so frustrating, if he could add some intensity to his game he'd be far more effective and that seems to be most people's view of him. Fingers crossed he can do that. |

Exactly this. I doubt anyone seriously thinks Nourry is picking the team, what we would like to know though is whether he has instructed Stephan to not pick Nardi (and Smyth?) due to contract situations.
I'd also like to hear the managers honest thoughts on the fitness of his squad, but I doubt we'll ever get that. |

I'm still surprised no bottom half premier league clubs went in for him if, maybe a big if, he really did have a £1.2m release clause for top flight clubs.
Probably one of those players too good for the championship but not good enough for the prem but still would've been a useful squad player or for rebuilding once relegated, or sold on for profit.
In which case it probably wasn't true. Good signing for Sheffield Utd though. |

To be fair Hill, Derry & Mackie weren't the most inspiring signings either but they all turned out ok. Maybe RND will do likewise and exceed expectations or just provide steady cover for Esquerdinha. |

Apparently it’s by design so that the players are able to go full tilt at the back end of the season.
Which means they’re good going into June when we don’t play but not August when we do play. We’re basically getting them beach ready for their hols.
It’s absolutely insane.
Alfie Lloyd went to Leyton Orient on loan and got injured straight away in training, I presume because he probably wasn’t as fit as he needed to be. |

Would be even crueler to drop him, that would suggest today’s result was his fault.
He had no protection in front of him and I can’t recall him being at fault for any of the goals.
What needs to happen is stopping this nonsense of playing the around with ball in our own area and defensive third, we’re not good enough to do that and neither is Walsh. [Post edited 23 Aug 18:10]

For the first I thought Morgan should've pressed the CB rather than drop off and let him progress/leave it to Burrell, he then let the scorer run in untracked and unchallenged, he let the game completely pass him by.

Like:
- Plenty of local history (Rochester Castle/Cathedral/High St, Chatham Dockyard, Upnor Castle, Fort Amherst, Borstal, Charles Dickens, Isaac Newell, Shorts brothers, Will Adams etc).
- Easy to get to London, the countryside or the coast.
- Lots of decent pubs, restaurants, cafes etc and things to do if you know where to look but enough rough bits to keep living here reasonably affordable.
Dislike:
- The amount of litter, seems the local council have given up on keeping the streets clean, as have the locals. |

Pretty sure they said on match days he’ll be working with youth/development squads.
His role is much wider than the first team and the first team players should be well drilled by match day so no need for him to be there, right…??? |
