Completely unacceptable to comment on a players weight. You wouldn't say that about a male player. We are a quarter the way through the 21st Century - try and catch up
All credit for digging back a year and not starting a new Paal thread. Eze, threaders take note. As I teach my kids during poetry lessons, there is usually a clue in the title.
No I DO NOT want another 9 page thread - but hey Oasis are topical at the moment. But after all Jules our (new) wonderwall -on hols in Portugal ( too many beers)
And as a fan base we are still not getting. There was a suggestion last month that Varane could be sold for 5M. Everyone started jumping up and down saying he is worth way more than that. Over FIVE times what we paid for him.a year ago after - at best- a mediocre season. We wouldn't gave been able to give him away last Christmas. It was the same with Willock and look how that turned out. We have done it once with Eze, which is not nearly enough to be competitive
Hmm I think blaming Richards for our lack of strike power is a bit of a stretch - we've signed loads of strikers over TY he last 3 years. Problem is they are all a bit sh1t - but maybe that's down to Richards 'disruptive influence' even when he is not in the building. The reality is the only thing that should interest us as fans is his football ability. If he is good enough and he's ours then either keep him, or sell to an interested party. The rest is just psycho babble that none of us are qualified to comment on.
And then exacerbated the situation by panicking and sacking the man that nearly got them there. If they had kept Rosenior last season I reckon they would have been a good bet for the play- offs. I mean, Bristol City and Coventry could literally have been any two from a dozen clubs at one point or another
