On the way to the game today I was sad to see the Adelaide all boarded up. For years it was my dad's local and always brought back good memories of growing up in the Bush. Does anyone know what's happening with it? In the current climate I'd fear it's likely to end up as flats, like so many closed pubs.
Just did my Burnley prediction (1-0 to them) and realised the LFW Prediction League must currently be one of the easiest on-line competitions to enter. Just one click for the opposition score and you can leave our score and scorer on the default positions (0 and No scorer), then submit and you're done
A great point made by one of the posters on another message board:
"Imagine, just imagine, if in the midst of the mad celebration of Dunne's wonder goal the big screen had flashed up “VAR Check” and how that would have punctured the mood. Even if confirmed 2 minutes later, that ultimate high wouldn’t have been the same. No to VAR"
Probably of interest for anyone heading in by car from the west for tomorrows match. Warning signs showing 1 hour delay J3-J2 into the diversions this evening.
I notice the win odds are very close for both teams today. Not really what you would expect for a team in 4th at home to a team in 23rd. Seems like the 'Charity Park Rangers Factor' is influencing the markets.
Checking through my season to date ratings on this site after the Norwich match, I've noticed my top 11 players in the ratings actually produce a well balanced starting XI as follows. It'a based on just the 14 matches I've seen in full (either live or on TV or streamed) and I've included their current position based on average rating in brackets. I'd be interested if the ratings of others on here produced anything similar.
