Coventry looked head and shoulders above us, they dominated the game. Mr Stephan another performance like that and you better make an appointment at Hammersmith Jobcentre. |

Really if he we lose to Charlton, he's in trouble. |

I am hoping it was a cunning plan by Nourry to put Marti Cifuentes on gardening leave so he could plant Saito for the last 3 months in his back garden and with all that sun and a bit of watering he is now 6ft plus. [Post edited 22 Aug 19:05]

I went to my first QPR game at Loftus Road as a 9 year old in October 1972, I went to my last game at Loftus Road on 9 August 2025 against Preston as a 61 year old in both games we were in the 2nd tier . My point is that our club is firmly entrenched as a 2nd tier club and when we lost our Premier status in 1996 after a solid 13 years in the top flight was probably the point where the mountain got harder to climb. Some things are starting to work, but whether we can get out of this league that looks increasingly difficult with all the barriers that clubs like ours face. But if you look at the majority of the clubs in the Championship they are pretty much all in the same position, the only real outriders to break the restrictions and force their way to the top tier in last 10 years probably Brighton, Bournemouth, Burnley, Brentford and Palace. I agree, we gave him his chance when others let him go and it has paid dividends for both us and him. Hope he continues to do well at Arsenal and I think we all know QPR has a special place in his heart. Still remember being at Stoke in the first game of the 2019/20 season and seeing him waltz through the Stoke defence to score that blinding goal. |

From reading previous articles on our sale to Palace in 2020 and what a previous contributor on this thread said about a 20% sell on clause, based on sale profit. So if as being reported the potential sale to Spurs is £55m plus add ons possibly up to £60m. We sold Eze for £19.5m including add ons, which we assume were all met, so the 20% if applied to £55m will be against £35.5m profit or £40.5m if it is against the £60m with add ons. |

Sign Hayden and we can forget about Madsen. Field a keeper he always does a decent job, but Madsen try as we want him to succeed is just a passenger in this league |

Think we should just invest it in an ISA and keep it tax free and away from Rachel from accounts. [Post edited 16 Aug 20:33]

We should focus on trying to sign Hayden, forget about Saito. Pay Hayden a decent wedge not worry about sell on fee. We need steel in that central midfield, signing another midget ain't gonna do it. |

I agree we now have different options, would prefer if we went for Hayden to shore up the midfield |

First time in a few years that we can actually have a bit of hope with the potential of our forwards. Let's hope it all comes together and they start banging those goals in. |

Out of all the performances by the youngsters at Plymouth, thought Pearman looked lost and needs vast improvement and Talla when he came on was struggling. Still not sure what position Bennie plays, don't think he does either, sort of a utility player. Anyway good to give these youngsters a chance at a higher level, bit of a shame we don't progress further in the competition, when we had a good chance at 2-0 up. Lack of experience not available on the bench probably did for us in that 2nd half |

Like the look of this lad, impressed by his attitude when he came on against Preston on Saturday and last night with Kolli up front they looked a threat, lot of pace and gets stuck in, got up well for the header which led to our opener. I will ignore the penalty challenge as that was just unlucky to a certain extent. Would like to see him start at Watford instead of Celar, we could have a bit of a gem here and if Kone signs will have quite a good few attacking options. |

I took two things from last night, one Burrell looks a really good prospect and should go straight in the forward line at Watford and that Vale is developing well. Some of the youngsters did look a little lost and surprisingly Nardi in the 2nd half was flapping a bit, maybe persevering with Walsh is a good plan. |

The only thing I took from this game is that Burrell should lead the line at Watford. I thought earlier Nardi should start on Saturday, but not so sure as he had a poor 2nd half, although the young defenders did struggle with those crosses. Basically the better team won but to spunk a two goal lead is really disappointing. |

Nardi should be starting on Saturday, as well as Burrell. Like the way Kolli is starting to enforce himself on the game. Those two are head and shoulders above Celar who really is stinking the place out in the forward line. |
