Akindeleni has come on I think... The camera wasn't showing what was going on but I don't think JCS is on the pitch any more. |

Of the whopping two examples you've given, one lost at home to a club they haven't lost at home to for nearly 10 years. The other went off injured after an hour. This is the extent of the 'proof' that your way of doing things is the right way. If our guys had started on Saturday - perhaps they wouldn't have been fit enough to start on Wednesday. I'm guessing you'd then whinge about the team selection on Wednesday. There's clearly no point debating this with you as you never concede any holes in your logic despite the clearly contrary evidence or counter points. You're not here for a debate, you're here to shout criticism at the club / coach and shout at anyone that dares to disagree. It's not wrong or poor from the club. They're managing players' fitness to maximise their long term output. We have a squad and I'm glad we're using it. |

Liverpool lost at home to Man Utd for the first time in a decade. |

Just going to ignore the fact the he went off injured yesterday which undermines your entire point? |

It’s an open board so I don’t give a f**k whether you want my comments or not. I’d rather not read your misguided, poorly articulated vomit either but unfortunately it’s something I have to suffer when reading the opinions of people I actually respect. Casemiro has played 330 minutes for Man Utd before today this season. Burrell has played 611. So not sure why you think they’re comparable. Oh, and just to fully expose how thin and weak your ‘argument’ is… Casemiro went off injured. |

Burrell came on for the last 30 minutes. He didn’t play ‘the second half’. So if he were only cleared to play 30 mins what are you suggesting? He should have played the first 30 mins then be removed 15 mins before half time? Imagine the uproar on here. Beale did something similar to what you’re suggesting with Willock and it essentially ruined his career. Also I’d imagine JS doesn’t see the replacement players as binary ‘weak links’ as you’ve labeled them as if it’s an objective fact. We’re going to need more than 11 players to play a 46 game league season. Players won’t be fit to start all of them. If we have to write off every game where the best XI isn’t able to start like you are insinuating, we’re f**ked anyway. |

You seriously need it explaining to you why someone might have the aerobic capacity to perform at maximum ability for 30 minutes but not 90 based upon their schedule? I mean we pay about 30 professionals to manage data and processes around this exact stuff but yeah I'm sure 'Gazza' on Loft For Words who can't spell 'Saito' knows better. Tedious nonsense at this point. |

Can you explain why you persistently use a seemingly random combination of vowels and consonants instead of the fairly straightforward surname ‘Saito’? |

Nump I think you're right to call out just how strong this bench looks / could look. By contrast, in Marti's first game in charge, a 1-1 draw at Rotherham less that 2 years ago, out bench was: Archer, Kakay, Larkeche, Drewe, Duke-McKenna, Richards, Adomah, Armstrong, Kelman. As you say, this weekend the bench COULD be: Hamer, Cook, Clarke-Salter, Field, Hayden, Smyth, Chair, Poku, Frey. With Dembele, Kolli, Morgan, Esquerdinha, Larkeche not even named. Whichever way you look at it, that's an extraordinary turnaround in two years and shows the added depth and quality we have now. [Post edited 17 Oct 10:29]

https://www.qpr.co.uk/news/2025/june/25/steve-bould-joins-as-head-of-defensive-c He's the Head of Defensive Coaching and one of the First Team coaches. "(Bould) takes on a new role at QPR which will see him coach at all levels, from the first team right through to the younger academy age groups. The position is focused on the long-term development of players up and down the club’s structure while Bould will also be a valuable member of the first-team coaching staff." As someone else has pointed out, he works through all levels at the club so if he were to be present at every first team match days he'd be in dereliction elsewhere. I'd have thought someone as educated as you would have been able to work that out. |

Cornerbacks are only allowed to make contact with a receiver within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage. Any contact after that would result in a penalty. If the ball's not in the air it would likely be ruled holding, a 5 yard penalty and an automatic first down. If the ball's in the air and catchable, it would be pass interference and a spot foul penalty, as in they move the ball up to where the foul took place, which can be wildly penile and move the ball 20/30 yards at a time. Over the last 20 years refs have allowed less and less contact by corners to make it far easier to throw the ball successfully. Certain QBs master the art of putting the ball deep in areas in can't be intercepted but unlikely to be caught knowing full well there will likely be contact, knowing they will move the ball via Pass Inteference penalties. |

Yeah I was forced in to watching this drivel when one of my team's games was aired on C5. It was completely embarrassing. It's incredible to me how wrong British broadcasters get the want and need of the UK NFL consumer. They constantly assume everyone tuning in has never watched a game before and couldn't possibly comprehend any subtleties. Reynolds and Schecter are good and manage to actually add something rather than persistently patronise their audience. Jason Bell is a little over the top but at least he adds energy to a broadcast. Sky are a billion miles ahead of anyone else that tries to air the sport in the UK. The glory days for me were Kevin Cadle (RIP) and Nick Halling. Halling was absolutely terrific. Knew his stuff inside out, a great broadcaster / journalist and had a personality. Maybe I'm just miserable and old but I'd watch and listen to him an infinite amount of times before watching Sam Quek spouting nonsense 'banter' and try to toss a ball into a bucket from ten yards. |

I mean there's a post 4 posts above mine asking him to sign a resignation letter. |

The entitlement of England football fans always amazes me. What the bloody hell even is the England football team? There's nothing on earth comparable to it. We're not particularly good at football inherently as a nation and we never really have been. Sir Gareth Southgate was cast aside after pivoting Hodgson's Iceland debacle into a World Cup semi final, two Euros finals and another World Cup quarter final. He didn't have the tactics apparently. We'd never win anything with him. The only England manager in our entire history to win a knockout game against a major footballing nation outside of England. But yeah get rid as he didn't win either of the two finals he delivered for the first time in 50 years+. So they turn to an elite tactician who has won every single qualifying game he's played so far. That ain't good enough either. We didn't want him. He should resign apparently, in October, 8 months before a World Cup, with a literally perfect and unblemished competitive record. I honestly think there is probably only one nation on Earth that could beat their next door neighbours 3-0 at home, have to do it in front of 80k fans that sit there chatting throughout the match, looking forward to the next Mexican Wave and then face calls the next morning for the coach to resign. We sit there like X Factor judges for every match between tournaments poking them with a stick in their cage demanding to be entertained... 3-0 ain't good enough lads, I was bored for an hour. A disgrace. And then we're all baffled as to why we don't win major tournaments and why elite English players consistently say in retirement that they didn't particularly enjoy playing for England. Absolute madness. |

Oh FFS Cate I'd been thinking about that for about half a f*ing hour. You've made me look a right dick there. |
