What other team would take off a striker with 2 quality goals, leading the line well and playing with full confidence with 20 mins to go in a tight game. We should have been doing everything we could to get the ball to him, not take him off!!! |

Shame Stamenic seems to have gone off the boil, looked a great player when he first started but his impact in games is less game by game. Maybe part of a bigger problem than him individually but thought he could have been a proper leader for us in the middle of the park |

No doubt Galbraith may prove to be better than Key, however he’s just outplayed a 100m player on the international stage in midfield and we are moving him to a less impactful role in our team. Hope I’m wrong |

My point was week to week , not tonight |

Our best midfielder being played out of position to accommodate isnt ideal. Doesn’t matter what he played for Orient last year, needs to be anailed on starter in CM for us - only argument would be whether he plays DM or not. |
 | Forum Reply | How is Alan Sheehan doing ? at 21:45 4 Oct 2025
Ok but we still slow ourselves down when on front foot Did it straight after we equalised - a good manager with. Decent squad wouldn’t allow this [Post edited 4 Oct 21:45]

Can’t blame him for bugging himself up and blaming it on everyone else (especially with our recent history) to get yourself in the shop window again Just don’t expect us to feel sorry for you, could easily have been a Welsh 1-2 at the bottom of the championship if you had stayed much longer. |
 | Forum Reply | Just give him the job at 22:17 22 Apr 2025
The negativity comes round quick!! Let’s hope they’ve both said end of season - if Sheehan excels (as he has) he’s in a stronger position to ask for what he needs We can understand not giving him the job yet as it’s probably thrown a few spanner’s in the works We should really commit to him now though - he’s earnt it and got us all on board (even most of the initially sceptical) |
 | Forum Reply | Alan Sheehan : What about the level those job offers came from ! at 18:18 4 Apr 2025
I believe we’ve seen an improvement in what he has been able to deliver in the 2nd spell from what we saw in the 1st. The only real negative was Burnley home when we folded after going behind so early (which we immediately rectified against Leeds) There are a lot of positives for Sheehan getting the job, and at the very least he needs to stay here |

Rugby affected it big today. Hope all those who stayed away for that will rethink their choices next time after today |

Agree, made the game better. We always have bad refs, one of the better ones this season today |

You could see a weight had been lifted. We played the game in front of us instead of being suffocated by tactics. It may or may not work out it for the rest of season but today was positive |

Just grateful I won’t see him telling us to slow down when we have momentum again. So frustrating. And world class midfielder Frank lampard likes him - lower league manager at best (so far) is not the same standard. Think he’s fallen for the stats and the false idol status |

Completely agree Even if he tears it up for Coventry it’s not our loss as he has t done it here since the Potter season (which is possibly the only season which we didn’t play through him every chance) Del piero stay with Juve when they went down as he was an inspirational captain and wanted to help them improve Grimes is the opposite, a terrible leader ,not someone you’d want in the trenches with you . His stats won’t get us back up the table. He needs a manager who demands more of him and our last couple of managers haven’t |

He’s so frustrating. The amount of times he slows us down. Sad thing is we know he can be better but our management is giving him a pass for not playing to potential. No other player would have that support |
