I believe we’ve seen an improvement in what he has been able to deliver in the 2nd spell from what we saw in the 1st. The only real negative was Burnley home when we folded after going behind so early (which we immediately rectified against Leeds)
There are a lot of positives for Sheehan getting the job, and at the very least he needs to stay here
You could see a weight had been lifted. We played the game in front of us instead of being suffocated by tactics. It may or may not work out it for the rest of season but today was positive
Just grateful I won’t see him telling us to slow down when we have momentum again. So frustrating. And world class midfielder Frank lampard likes him - lower league manager at best (so far) is not the same standard. Think he’s fallen for the stats and the false idol status
Even if he tears it up for Coventry it’s not our loss as he has t done it here since the Potter season (which is possibly the only season which we didn’t play through him every chance)
Del piero stay with Juve when they went down as he was an inspirational captain and wanted to help them improve Grimes is the opposite, a terrible leader ,not someone you’d want in the trenches with you . His stats won’t get us back up the table. He needs a manager who demands more of him and our last couple of managers haven’t
He’s so frustrating. The amount of times he slows us down. Sad thing is we know he can be better but our management is giving him a pass for not playing to potential. No other player would have that support
You say we can trust him to receive the ball in tight areas to keep possession. I’d disagree. The last few weeks he’s coughed up possession when under pressure leading to opportunities as the opposition know exactly what to do to us
Do you think we’d be that decisive with the manager?
A couple of weeks ago we went toe to toe with Leeds and Burnley and were unlucky to lose both. I’m not saying I disagree but I’d be surprised.
His comments after games are getting bizarre though compared to earlier in the season. Reminds me a lot of the bad run under RM.looks like a complete lack of effort and faith all round
Let’s be fair, it’s shared responsibility. The squad isn’t as strong a many however it was at least as strong as hull. I like our keeper however seeing him be ridiculed by non swans fans for the errors today was hard to defend. We create our own problems. I hope everyone in the coaching staff can try and resolve that because talent wise we are better than what we are showing
