I think that was on Hassenhutl.
Thierry Small has not had a career in the higher Leagues so I’m not sure we have lost a lot by letting him go. |

Respectfully, this is nonsense.
We have just spent the thick end of £50 million, an absolute fortune in this League.
It doesn’t matter what happened last season; this is a completely different division.
If a charlatan like Martin can get us out of this League, then it should not be beyond Still.
But he is making a complete pig’s ear of it.
The two games we have won could easily have been draws, and then we would be in the bottom 3. |

I was actually quite open-minded about Still’s appointment.
But today was utterly brainless.
No right-minded person would take off Scienza for Downs, or Shea Charles (our best player by a mile today) for Downes.

We look to me to have about 20 players who are all of a similar quality.
They're all decentish Championship players, which means that we should generally have a fairly strong bench in each game.
Possible outliers at the moment are Wood and Damian Downs, at either extreme.
This means that bringing subs on won't necessarily bring match-changing results. It did on Tuesday, but I would question whether it was a direct consequence. [Post edited 3 Oct 13:21]

Must admit I was surprised by quite how many were up at Sheffield on Tuesday.
Particularly given our indifferent start to the season.
