Well obviously, why would I want the club to let me know how much the not inconsiderable outlay they are going to ask of me will be?
Particularly after the magnificence of one home win since August, 3 managers in a season and a record low points total.

Souness was a mixture of great and awful.
On a good day, we were a joy to watch.
Berkovic was a cracking player, and he also signed Claus and Ostenstad, both pretty good signings for the club.
The problem as ever was the defence.
But we somehow escaped relegation despite needing snookers at one point.
And he did inherit a team that had escaped relegation on the last day of the previous season under Merrington. |

I actually quite liked Souness, although he didn't exactly hang around for long and his treatment of Le Tissier was far from great.
It certainly wasn't dull with him though.
Burley was occasionally entertaining, but ultimately a complete failure.
Nigel Pearson was a genuine bloke and did what he was asked to do, but was then treated badly by Lowe, and we lived to regret that.
Les Reed had some good times, but then it went to his head and he completely lost the plot. |

Last season we didn't know what division we would be in until the end of May.
We have already known for quite a few weeks this time round.
Most people will renew. How else will we get our satisfaction from abject disappointment? |

I doubt he would have been recruited if Wilcox had not left.
Given that Wilcox was not directly replaced, I imagine that Ankersen / Kraft / Parsons / Bitcon / Brent (delete whichever idiot you see fit) thought that Lallana might somehow fill a void left by Wilcox.

I will also gain more interest when we stop the self-defeating lunacy of playing with three CB’s.
Unfortunately Rusk has to go as he is making exactly the same errors as Juric in playing 3 CB’s when there is absolutely no need, with every single team in the Prem only having one striker.

I lost interest in this season the moment we were relegated.
Spoke to a Boscombe fan this week who is as jealous as hell that we are going into the Championship.
Saw a bit of Arsenal v PSG this week, including Arsenal’s disallowed goal, which typified everything that is wrong with football at the highest level.
