Going back a few years, the disgustingly unpleasant Bernard Manning.

I Would Walk 914 Miles

And FC Andorra Vs Las Palmas is 2748 miles return and if you're walking it you may need a change of clothes.

And as always I'm sure the Chinese can come up with something better.

How do they do it? Third in the premiership table. Stadium capacity 11300.No tradition or history.

Amazing.

Millwall deliver QPR’s latest reality check – Report
at 13:31 20 Oct 2025

Pace is the answer. We lacked it at the back. We lacked it at the front.
There should be no place for Frey (especially) or Cook.
Frey would be better employed as one of the dray horses that lumber round Wandsworth delivering Youngs beer. (Do they still have them?)
Whoever thought it would be a great idea to extend his contract needs to have their brains examined. As should anybody who picks him again to start a game.

Did Frey get two contract extensions?

If he lost 5 yards of pace he'd be going backwards.

Kone/Burrell-the New Allen/Goddard?

The best striking duo were the terrible twins, Jim Towers and George Francis that we snapped up from Brentford for £8000 in 1961.

And yes, I have seen them.

I once saw Norman Rossington (Cupcake in the Army game if you go back that far) in a pub miles from where I live. The next day in the office I said "Guess who I saw in the pub yesterday".
Back came the answer "Norman Rossington".
My blood ran cold.

He's faster than Frey.

When I suggested a few weeks ago that Madsen had a TOUCH of Ray Wilkins about him I was flayed alive and confined to the outer darkness.
I repeat that assessment today.

I thought Frey would be more likely to get the hump as he performs like a camel.

I thought that having 2 strikers was meant to give one of them licence to roam. If Kone was out on the wing and found he had noone to deliver the ball to, where was his fellow striker?

He played some delightful balls, seeing the highlights, but clearly needs to have his game developed and has some stiff competition.

Lesser spotted Clarke Salter

Where is their any reliable confirmation that he came off after 11 minutes?
He was signed on a free transfer. He had one excellent season, with no specific injury record. He was young. A 4 year contract appears reasonable.
We have a lot of hindsight specialists on this board. Do you really think he is deliberately conning the club?

I can't think of anybody else suited to play in midfield than an unfit Frey. A bizarre decision.

Can someone please explain why the Lummox Frey has had his contract extended. Slow, barely fit, frequently injured, no good in the air, does not fit into our new pacy forward line, cannot last a whole game, not going to improve at the age of 31.

Perimeter Walls Around Pitches - Tragic Death of a Player
at 16:02 26 Sep 2025

I am very surprised how few injuries to spectators at T20 and Hundred games given the high volume of sixes.
I remember seeing Alan Border hit a six a few years back which smacked into the face of a female spectator who was asleep. Fortunately she suffered no long term damage.
As far as football grounds are concerned, in some like ours which are tight for space there should be no concrete or brick or metal obstructions within say 2 metres of the pitch. I imagine legislation will follow.
