That’s partly down to a toothless, uncreative and ambitionless EFL. There’s so much to market about the Championship and they look for posh scraps. The ‘elite’ league however markets itself as fine dining with fine prices and everyone believes in ‘the emperors clothes’. EFL needs overhauling. We have a good product. Build it, market it and money would come in. It doesn’t need to be an EPL, just use all the attributes this league has and sell it. Then give the money to the clubs to build. The fans will love it. |

Agree. Handsome Ronnie would be a sound replacement for Cookie who I’m sure won’t be here after this season. Half season loan with commitment to buy could make sense. He would provide good competition at the back and flexibility across the back line. Only issue I could see in Jan would be injuries elsewhere that demand a replacement for a strong season finish. |

I find myself agreeing @cpgerber . I’m liking how JS is not making this about him (like many of our recent managers - MC included in that). He’s all about the players, the team and the club. Just quietly gets on with it. Impressed that he didn’t crumble after Cov, many would have panicked. He’s got these boys building some confidence while being realistic about our highs and lows. I hope he can keep it going. Will be an interesting 3-game week next week. SW looking up? Oxford getting first win! Bristol looking to bounce back? Nothing easy ahead, but we are building confidence, just keep grounded lads, keep putting in the hard work and listen to the gaffer. [Post edited 22 Sep 8:20]

What a beauty of a goal. One of the TV angles showed it magnificently. Any world player would be happy with that goal. Only sweeter it was a QPR player. Well done Harvey, a few more of those will be gracefully accepted! |

Great result today. Didn’t really matter how we got it, but we worked hard for the win and 3 pts. Confidence will be rising now but you know that JS isn’t going to let them be over confident. Team spirit feels high which has felt lacking at the end of last year. It’s back now and players like Kobe and Mbengue aren’t going to let it slip. Kudos to JS. He is definitely not making this team or this club about him. He’s just getting the job done and working with his squad. To come back from a 1-7 defeat is not bloody easy. So well done JS, the whole squad and staff as well as the fans. Well deserved all!!! |

Great to see a young lad move through so quickly since coming in. Plenty still to do. A great message to any player looking to come to the club. The end was magnificent and a lovely tribute from the QPR family. There’s tough times being an R’s fan but that does add a proud twinkle to the eye. Well done u R’s. |

Agreed JN. We all know sometimes in management we have to implement actions we may only partly agree with, however if we go ahead with it we have to own it too. Feels like JS is doing that, so fair play to him. He came across well, his pauses felt more thoughtful than thinking of the ‘right’ thing to say. He definitely comes across as a decent manager and someone the players will like and follow. As you say a good leader and his English is getting better and better. Well done Clive. Nice to see you getting access to JS and to put forward fans questions and feelings. Short and sweet. |

What a fabulous striker. Someone should snap him up for at least €4m! |

Missed the game due to family commitments but a good result for JS and the boys, an important 3pts and an air of positivity at last. Just shows what this team can do (even at 65%). Not going to dig out any negatives, just to say well done to the fans for giving the love back into the stadium, the team and the atmosphere. Well done Rrrrrrrrssss!!! Onwards and upwards. |

When it comes to judging whether CN does a good job or not there is one thing you can guarantee … this is football and at some point you WILL fail. Chances are you very likely to lose your job and take the blame. Chances are you may even get compensation for your failure. I hope before he fails he gets plenty of the good stuff done though. Same goes for Julien too. Good luck mate (you do have more chance of compensation though to make the bitter pill sweeter) |

A little tongue in cheek here, but if this is the ‘fair’ ethos of the club should we not also have a Monday morning parade of management, coaches and players on video apologising for their mistakes too. Corporate fairness and all that |

God Bless Ben Williams team OK … just a little levity, before heads start exploding!! |

That’s totally fair Clive. And as fans we completely expect it’s our right to hear it. Sadly, I haven’t met many bosses in my travels who like to tell their inner team they made a mistake and most certainly not the thousands of employees in the wider companies. They might talk about a plan adjustment though |
