I think his contract is up next summer so would be on a free, so I would say worth a shot regardless of which division we are in for 26/27. |

Pat, we would then of had a new squad of 25 to 30 promising youngstered last summer each costing £10 to £15 million each and the one or two which were any good would of been sold off this summer and we'd be left with the rest! |

In that same interview he also said about giving away the penalty against Leicester at home, sounded like he had taken the full blame for our collapse in that game and wanted to now make amends, now he's being given the chance! We do actually have a proven goal scorer in the championship still on the books I in Adam Armstrong, after last season I think it's hard to have any positivity but maybe we should try and let's see how Will does with the players which remain and come in? If we're as bad as many seem to think we will be come October then we can be pessimistic but let's have some hope for now? |
