Actually sold out to 10 aways.
Fortunately we get 3,000 tickets for Charlton and Millwall
Next tricky ones for tickets will be Oxford, where allocation will again be under 2,000 |

Not sure if it counts as Non League, but off to see Carrick Rangers (one of Saints opponents in cup winners cup in 76) v Portadown on Saturday.
Also during weekend away in Belfast, Northern Ireland v Slovakia on Friday night . |

Still inherited a right mess and a lot of deadwood in a large squad.
I too wonder what’s going on with substitutions and wonder what the f he sees in Downs, but have been impressed by the bold decision to drop THB and Stephens, and think the style of play is slowly improving, getting forward much quicker so think it’s right to give him more time
Regards play offs / promotion after last season is it the end of the world if we don’t go up, I’m currently enjoying going to games knowing we have a chance of getting a positive result from the game, rather than working out what time / score line it will be before I return to the pub to drown my sorrows |

When I started going away late 70’s hardcore was 250, you would rarely get a thousand at northern games, mind you the roads especially the A34 were terrible then, but you would get good turnouts for Cup games. Which is why everybody from that era knew personally everyone that went away regularly and still have time for each later 40 yrs later.
However I remember end of 76/77 when we took 2,000 up to Blackpool for a meaniless end of season game.
This has slowly built up of the years to the point when there are not many games, mainly northern midweek games where we do not sell out. [Post edited 3 Oct 16:00]

Over 3000 will be at Derby Saturday and 3,400 at Bristol City for midweek game later this month
We’ve already sold 1,300 for Blackburn after 2 days so another good following there hopefully.
Noise could be better at times but in terms of numbers our away support is superb |
