Am I the only one that doesn't really care about new kits? Social media is full of fans posting pics of themselves wearing the new yellow and blue away shirt, which looks very much like previous ones.
I find it odd for grown men to get excited about this sort of thing. |

Not really the point.
We have a factory floor where I work and no one is allowed out there without safety glasses. No exceptions, whether people like wearing them or not.
Seems odd the club tolerates him risking serious injury. |

Seeing Dibling at eastleigh made me think. How does the club allow him to play with no pads? Hes potentially a 30 million pound asset yet hes allowed to risk serious injury.
Joey Barton said today that he would target him as he'd be easy to put out of the game.
Barton is a thug but I expect other players will think the same.
If I were the club I'd insist he protects himself. Players aren't allowed to ride motorbikes etc but hes risking a serious injury every time he steps on the pitch.
Seems very odd to let him do it. |

The majority wanted to stand.
Many wanted the away fans moved.
That's now happened and fans still aren't happy. I guess the club are never going to please everyone no matter what. |

I don't remember seeing any football related trouble, I just remember it was sunny and a great day out. Although to be fair I couldn't see much of anything at that point.
I saw a lot more trouble at the Ageas bowl or whatever it's called. There was a lot of saints pompey stuff going on. That was a crap gig. Massive queues for everything and a sound system that was swaying in the wind and you could barely hear it. Oh and it had to finish by 10 or something due to noise restrictions. |

I went to see oasis at the old Wembley stadium on July 21st 2000, a month before Wembley was demolished and the night they recorded familiar to millions.
Legendary day out around London beforehand to the point that we were in a Wembley pub, heard music and realised we were completely missing the happy Mondays. Oh well.
Thing is I don't think I paid more than 30 or 40 quid for a ticket. |

To be fair he is dedicated to saints, seems very professional and wants the best for the club.
Problem is he's just not good enough and giving him another 3 years seems crazy. |

Gotta be honest im of a generation where replica shirts were for the kids. So im not bothered what they charge.
Im fascinated with how many people are eagerly awaiting the launch and seem genuinely excited. I could understand that if a new kit was a rare occurrence but you barely have time to get any sort of affection for a shirt before three more are launched. |

A1079 has always been one of the more thoughtful posters on here so I believe him when he says he didn't really convey this thoughts that well.
As for Still, bloody hell, we haven't even kicked a ball under him yet and people are panicking.
How about we don't set any expectations and just see what happens? And even enjoy the ride.
Hes not been here 5 minutes, he's bound to take a while to feel comfortable. Anyway I don't need him tap dancing for the media like a pound shop Klopp. I just care the players buy in and he can pick an effective team. For all we know right now, we could win the league by ten points! |

I see they are selling another player for 40 mill to Liverpool today. I guess it's good business if they can replace but they are finding out what happens in the PL when you are moderately successful.. |

My 2 daughters are heavily into guitar bands and regularly go to big gigs at Wembley arena and the 02 to see bands. They sell out but most people have never heard of them. Not sure what that says about the state of radio or music media these days. I guess for a start kids don't listen to the radio anymore in the same way they don't watch regular tv.
Also they are usually listening to music via air pods so I'm not subjected to their tastes unlike when I was a kid and blasted out my stereo for the entire neighbourhood to enjoy.. |

Well he hasn't produced anything to date. Bear in mind, he's our record signing and 2 years later we are still saying that there's a player in there somewhere.
We need to cash out right now and use the money better elsewhere. Frankly he's been a complete waste of time. |

He did admit that not replacing wilcox sooner was a big mistake. But didn't mention all the other mistakes.
