Not Championship,I know, but our good friends from Kenilworth Rd have sacked Bloomfield after just 10 months in charge. Despite our rivalry they definitely had a good run with managerial and player recruitment moving forward every season but it’s now all gone to sh1t, what a shame. |

I must admit I was a bit worried about this signing when I was reading the comments about him from the fans of his previous club but I think he’s doing well. Up against a tricky winger Saturday and had the best of it. He looks like a player who’s going to be a 7/10 most weeks and will probably go under the radar. He reminds me of Bidwell in that he quietly goes about his job unnoticed but as soon as he’s not around you realise how much he’s missed. |

Lots of ifs here but with Wilder back at Sheff U maybe he’ll come back for Dunne in January, who, after signing a new contract, would cost him money that we could use to get Edwards. |

FIFA to eliminate one international break but make the September one into three weeks. Not sure how I feel about this and would the EFL have to comply? |

Just reading the last book in C J Sansoms Shardlake series. These are about a lawyer in Tudor England and he manages to bring the sights, sounds and smells! of that era to life. |

As I said on another post the fans were getting very aggy yesterday and as has been said over and over again when you replace a popular coach the new guy has to hit the ground very fast or things could get very nasty. |

In the first half That was as aggy as I’ve I’ve heard our fans for a long time with loud booing towards the end of the first half. Morgans goal saving the team from a horrible send off at halftime. My other main takeaway from yesterday was how much bigger and stronger their players looked than ours, also when they received the ball they mostly tried to spin and run or progress the ball forward, whereas our players first option always seems to be to pass the ball backwards or sideways, ending up going nowhere with no momentum. |
