Think we can co sider a utility player or two at the back... i.e. can play CB or FB, a bit like Fox only hopefully better.
That way we can push to boat out on a striker. |

That forgets that Ainsworth started off the 24/25 season.
He won only 5 out of 26 games in his time with us.

I agree, lets not rewrite history. We were kept up using Beale/Critchley's squad. A lot of the points were won under Beale, not the other two.
The squad wasnt palying for Ainsworth, the players brought in were not up to the standard. It was a disaster and nothing else. |

Lets not forget that he inherited a complete mess. Ainsworth's reign was an unlitigated disaster, the finances were stretched and very few players mathes the Marti way of playing. Most of the llayers at the.club arent his.
IMO we are better now than this time last year. But more work is still needed.
We wont really know the full answer to this question until the end of the seaon after next |

I agree its mental money, but strikers are worth a premium, and bigger clubs have the funding to take gambles as the link above showed.
I would say a massive sell on clause would be essential. |

Right idea (remember Lampards goal vs Germany?) Bit implemented by FIFA, so no surprise whatsoever its a disaster
Should knly overrule clear and obvious mistakes. Limit it to 30 seconds to overturn or stick with the on field decision. The equivalent of umpires call in Cricket. Its not that difficult to fix. |

Think that "major upheaval" is a little exaggerated.
There will be squad churn. There always is. But the major surgery was last season. Dont think it will be Novemeber before the team starts firing (thats got the potentiall to bite me though).
The churn will mostly be squad players not first XI. I also expect Saito to stay. |
