Apologies, maths and English not my strong point. Should have read two more wins, or ‘equalled’ not surpassed 😉 |

One more win and we will have surpassed last years abysmal record. Think we have found our level. For once, a pleasant stroll home from the game yesterday and nice to see a manager use his subs and go for the result. Appreciation to Jack as well for the winner when I got one have questioned the new deal. |

What makes me laugh is that we were pretty much an established PL outfit before this mob came to town on horseback. Two relegations later and suddenly there is a chasm / huge financial void that never ever existed before for teams returning to the top flight! Don’t know about others, but based on Spors and Parsons last night I am not entirely sure that we have any strategy, or short, medium and long term goals. Time will tell but I seriously wonder if we have any set direction or aspirations other than to get back towards the PL. The Stevens situation is prime ‘Rylan’ contract extension which was not needed. [Post edited 8 Aug 11:51]

100%. As a nipper it was always about the football and connection with a lot of the players we had at that time. Armstrong, Channon, Magilton, Oakley, Dodd etc etc. Now it’s purely a day out and few beers. |

Abysmal. So to summarise, we need a nice letter and pin badge when procuring a Season Ticket. Slack Jack is around to keep the younger players happy and show them the ropes, and Parsons recognises that it’s hard for a (what was an already established PL) team to establish themselves in the top flight. What a waste of an hour….. [Post edited 7 Aug 19:11]

Checking the yoghurt in the fridge? Jokes aside, it sounded like he might have been listening in, but personal issues. [Post edited 7 Aug 19:04]

What about introducing a train station that leads direct to the Gulags? |

Whilst I was a fan of the Cortese approach, let’s be fair and say that things went downhill as soon as Kat sold up a % of her stake. Cortese had gone when we went on to Europe and got to that Cup Final. Totally agree though that things have gone down the tubes since….. Sport Republic may come good, but my view involves a saying around the organisation of nights out and breweries…..…. [Post edited 5 Aug 8:51]

Let it go - just glad the bloke is nowhere near Saints. |

The stroll back to the station is the best part. So called ‘women’ with no teeth hurling obscenities from their windows and plebs shouting scummers in their Chavtastic gear. The last visit though got lucky in we just made it in to see Ingsy bang in the opener. Word had it (got in about ten minutes late) we had been outplayed but C’est la vie, we had a striker then that knew how to score. The rest as they say is history and we now have a tune that the Noddy’s can recite continuously at every game now….. [Post edited 29 Jul 11:18]

Go back in time and replace Jack with Russell Martin - absolutely no need. Still, we should see at least a few more wins this year |
