Whilst I agree entirely, I cannot see the collapse ever happening. Years ago (ITV) I think it was had the rights to games below the PL ~ Didn’t that / they hit the skids and things went pear shaped for lower Division clubs for a while? Sadly the PL is not in any way shape or form a truly English affair anymore. Let’s face it, not one of the big six owners are truly interested in local lads or lasses turning up to watch their product, it’s all truly global with a massive American influence. Even had the big six or whatever broken away, it would be fun for a few years til the next cartel was formed. Would love to for the whole lot go tìts, but I cannot see it. Still surprised we haven’t seen United play the Dippers in Singapore or Abu Dhabi for a PL fixture…… (it will come though). Meanwhile we will be playing Salford or Mansfield in one of the lower leagues. [Post edited 26 Mar 18:26]

Sad state of affairs really. Aside from Ramsdale and Fernandes who I expect to go anyway, I wouldn’t be too bothered if the remainder were put on the transfer list at the end of season. Forget ‘ones for the future’ and ‘potential resale value’ this model really is flawed imho. Let’s start again and get some shïthouse bricks in the team and build a spine around them. Excuse me, never at any point did I want Kat gone. I wasn’t even bothered about Gao to be fair although I think relegation under him was inevitable. Am not even sure flushing this mob out is the answer tbh as they ain’t gonna sell up cheap regardless. |

Does anyone think there is realistically others out there better (based on our current predicament)? Liebherr and Cortese could see the potential, but maybe we need to drop another league before anyone takes a punt. The Championship, a money making machine it ain’t….. On the upside, a few years down might flush a few out. [Post edited 21 Mar 7:37]

What 3 things would you gladly see disappear from Saints next season. My starter for ten: 1) The Noddy Music when we score a goal 2) The Fanzones 3) The (PR) slogans (We March On, The Southampton Way etc. etc.) |

Sadly I feel the time has come to move on from St. Mary’s . Back in the 90’s we had to move from our then small home in order to help us compete financially. After several decades of challenging the elite in the PL we now need a new home with an increased 75,000 capacity to aid our next push. Onwards and Upwards - We March On |

Apparently in town tomorrow, boy what a wonderful servant to Saints. If he brings his boots he could walk straight in to the side……. [Post edited 14 Mar 21:48]
