If that’s the case, why did they not flood in with bids prior to Sport Republic buying us? It was known then that Gao was up for selling as the restrictions he had been placed under made it a challenge for him.
Heard all this before about x, y and z being interested but funny old thing, only Markus was one who took us on (thereafter Gao and SR). Easy to say loads of people want us, but proof is in the pudding.

Never seen the Lightning Seeds or Pigeon Detectives but sadly there is just not enough there this year to warrant going.
A couple of good acts, but for me (and just my musical likes) the line up is poor.

I wouldn’t be against ‘loaning’ a few out with a view a permanent deal as you never know, certain fans could be a dream match / fit like a glove at another club.
On Nicks fine scale system, I would probably slot in as a number 3. Suspect a fair few of those around me would be glad to ‘shift me on’. Whilst I would be out of Anfield like a rash if we were three nil down, I did stay for the recent huge debacles…. [Post edited 12 Jun 20:12]

In order to retain (and not increase) the capacity of St. Mary’s perhaps (like we do with players and coaching staff), we could introduce the trading of fans. Know a few Social Media ‘celebs’ we could offer out……..  [Post edited 12 Jun 8:11]

I genuinely don’t remember loathing Redknapp as much as I did RM. Never in my life had I been so bored watching his brand of football.
On reflection mind, watching City go into ten minutes of Injury time in the FA Cup final and still be pïssing around with the ball (rather than pumping it in the box) shows exactly where these so called experts are focussing the efforts. Cannot stand Gary Neville, but his detest for this modern style is on my wavelength.

Ditto. No problem with Palace at all but this whole multi club model is a pile of gash as far as I’m concerned. Would be delighted to see our mob sell us and focus their efforts on the Turkish or French club. |
