From that recent BBC article: 'Over the past decade 14 teams in this year's Championship have spent time in the top tier, while no team has spent more than 10 years in the division. QPR were relegated in 2015, while Bristol City and Preston - neither of whom have played in the Premier League - were promoted in the same year.' So if Bristol City go up and Preston go down, we'd be the mainstays of the Championship. Consistently mediocre. |

Frey can play 40 minutes at a time. Looking forward to Kelman coming back but wouldn't be surprised if the lunatics sold him and signed Chris Martin because Nourry's laptop identified a fat lad in Bristol. |

Sadly, there's going to be a lot of work to do in the summer. I really hope we don't keep Ashby - it was notable that the Swansea fans were singing ee-aw chants at him yesterday. I generally like Paal but it looks like he'll be off and Jimmy is unlikely to re-sign, so that means two new full backs are a priority. In midfield, while Colback has done well recently, I don't understand the logic of releasing Hayden because he was too old and then re-signing someone even older who has missed a significant amount of the season through injury. We do need someone hard in there though - is Shaun Derry still available? Nearly ten years on from Charlie leaving, we still haven't replaced him. I like Frey but we can't have our main striker only able to play 40 minutes at a time. Hopefully Nourry won't sell two strikers and replace them with only one this time round. But that's on Marti. 100% Frey should have started the game. Yes, he has been hampered by injuries this season but he has got it wrong a number of times and been schooled by the likes of Rohl. Absolutely deserves another season but shouldn't get a free pass for what has been a pretty awful season. |

Yes, the level of officialdom at this level never ceases to amaze me. That decision was particularly mental as the keeper caught the ball - that was it! No contact with our players; just caught the ball and then landed on the floor. Where on earth do they find them? |

A game like today makes you realise how much work we need to be decent next season. Yes, we have injuries, but we were passive, slow and second best most of the game. Need pace and power. Let them enjoy their win - they'll be back to being shit again when it really matters. |

We were abysmal today until the last 20 minutes. Marti picked the wrong side and we were playing with nine men first half. Frey should have started. |

I have always liked him, probably because I do like skilful players (Wegerle was the reason I support Rangers) and we do have an illustrious history of mavericks. Obviously, modern football demands that your skilful players need to work harder now and many of the 70s mavericks would sadly be considered unsustainable luxuries, maybe getting five minutes at the end of a match if you're looking for a goal. I hope he has a good preseason and we continue to see him getting more involved next season. |

I voted for him as both POTY and YPOTY as he has been our stand-out player since January. While I do think we're improving in terms of developing young players (and Nourry is right to want younger players coming through), it is an indictment of Les's tenure (which was all about growing our own) that our best young player is someone else's. |

100% he merits a chance next season. We're a side without a cutting edge. We'd be insane not to give him a chance. As others have said, if he weren't our player, forums would be bemoaning not looking at a player with so many goals. For what it's worth, I always thought he looked lively in terms of effort when he played for us and it's hardly like he had a consistent run of games like Conor Washington. |

Got to say our priority must be keeping Marti this summer. We are getting points even without a striker playing most of the time. Nourry needs to be very careful if he's trying to bin him off... |

It was but I'd rather we were in City's position and potentially looking forward to the play-offs. That's where we need to be - though I enjoyed the match, it felt like a pre-season game in some ways because of the weather and our position (pretty much safe). We really need to be targeting the play-offs next season - pretty mad that Millwall are still in contention. |

Rolls Royce of a player. No brainer so you would definitely buy him because you'd make a massive profit when he eventually went somewhere bigger. Can't see Southampton, despite the way they've gone about this season, being stupid enough to sell though. |

If only our players got up at 5am every morning to make a list of HIGH-PERFORMANCE GOALS they wanted to achieve that day, we'd be in the Champions League by now. |

We started well, lost momentum but deserved the point. The last two games make me feel optimistic about next season, even if we're losing our best player and Jimmy. Really need Marti to stay though... |
