There is no doubt that Cymru have missed his coaching skills. |
| Forum Reply | Could Swansea buy Rushworth? at 18:10 2 May 2024
No. In any event why would he want to come on a permanent deal when he is of premier League and future International quality. |

Any Party that elects Liz Truss as it's Leader and by default Prime Minister deserves to implode. And just to be more balanced than I normally am, the same applies to Welsh Labour and their election of Gething. |

The attendance of only 1246 bears out the comments about the venue. |

To compound the heinous nature of the matter you mention in the first paragraph, the £140K was offered in stage payments to 'encourage' her to comply with the NDA and to withdraw from the Mediation Scheme that had been instigated. This was on the advice of the in-house solicitor, Rodric Williams, who gave evidence last week. He didn't cover himself in glory. Worth looking at his 'performance' too. |

Agreed. Just like the Water Companies, the Energy Companies, the rail Companies, and the Steelworks. |

For anyone interested, this woman is giving evidence to the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday. Her character was a central role in the drama 'Mr Bates v The Post Office' and it should be a couple of very interesting days, particularly when she has to answer questions by the legal representatives of the sub Postmasters and Mistresses . Two of them are real rottweilers. If you don't already know, you can watch the proceedings live via the Inquiry's website which has a YouTube link. |

I absolutely agree with you regarding the World Cup windfall and it being cascaded downwards . But that sum is finite and if there is no future success then those financial benefits will disappear. Meanwhile the raft (not layers) of managers will remain and will absorb financial resources, which is my point. Having experienced a presentation by one such manager, which was extremely poor, I was left wondering what exactly he was doing in the FAW organisation and what contribution he was making to the benefit of the clubs. You can see such empire building in many organisations, not least the Police Commissioners. |

Add to that that 3 of the semi finalists were from the North. |

Unfortunately the CEO has built an empire within the FAW with a whole raft of managerial non jobs. Believe me the quality of some of those, well paid, 'Managers' leaves a lot to be desired. Money that would be better spent on improvements to pitches and facilities, particularly at grass roots level. |

Whilst, like the rest of us, he is entitled to his opinions, I believe the best thing to do is to simply ignore him. Similar thing with 'Clueless' at the Stadium last week. It would have been better to have ignored him rather than allowing him to wind us up. Don't give these people the oxygen of attention. |

I suppose that's only natural. Fair play to Whittaker though, selected from a team lying 18th in the League. But that Leicester goalkeeper must be a hell of a player to be selected ahead of Rushworth, who for me has been outstanding. |

It's all a bit bewildering for someone of my generation. Perhaps he should be reported to Police Scotland. The Scottish Government obviously think they have not got enough to do. |

BTW Cardiff City have 7 players in the U19 squad and 3 in the U17s. Thought I'd mention that given what is currently on the menu. |

Sorry I misinterpreted your point about the 'pot' but I do feel there is room for greater success. Remember, it wasn't that long ago we had two Clubs in the Premier League. That had a big impact for football in Wales. It could happen again, as long as one of them is ours. |
