The thing about Starmer is that he simply reacts to situations. When he does react he is a beat too late as illustrated by his tardiness in getting rid of Rayner and now Mandelson. The man does not seem to have a clear political and moral philosophy. |

Mandy has gone. What a shambles of a Government we've got. I am beginning to feel ashamed I voted for them. I expected far more from Starmer than we are getting, particularly after the preceding lot. |

I have booked a ticket for the Fast Show at the Swansea Arena on the 5th November (a deferred e-ticket}. I have now discovered that I will not be able to attend and am not able to cancel the ticket and get a refund. The ticket (with booking fee) is worth just under £45 but I am willing to pass it on at NO CHARGE but perhaps a donation to this site's charity would be welcome. If anyone is interested please DM me and I can arrange to transfer the e-ticket when it arrives. |

Stick to your guns Res, you have every right to comment on whatever you want. You stimulate a great deal of debate and weren't you voted POTY not so long ago? |

It is interesting that the Party membership full of 'reactionaries' has so far voted in 3 women as their Leader, one of whom is black, whilst the more liberal, enlightened Party membership has voted in none as Leader. I say this as a committed Labour supporter ... but Diane Abbott!!! |

I don't think the Labour Party would have been happy if a bunch of Republicans came over to the Uk to help campaign for the Conservatives during our General Election. This seems to be yet another mis-step by the current regime. |

Thank you for clearing that up. The original report stated that Kaba had been 'charged' but that has been subsequently amended to the effect that he had not actually been arrested. That answers my question regarding him not being in custody. |

I don't know if I am missing something but I cannot understand why he was out and about a few days after being charged with attempted murder. Surely he should have been in custody. |

Travelling abroad to watch our National team is a great experiance and it makes you proud to be praised by the hosts. I do not understand the small minded Club before Country attitude expressed on here. The two don't need to be mutually exclusive. |

Hear, Hear. Her resignation letter is spot on. It's time more Labour MPs came out of the closet and spoke out. Trouble is that most of them will be covering their backsides hoping for a promotion. |

That is not proper consultation. |

Yes, just like the imposition of the 20mph speed limit there has been no proper public consultation. |
