He didn't fail the medical, there were only issues with it. The issues being there is no space in the medical room because it's already full! |

Would rather we went full strength personally |

Nardi, Adamson and a lot of kids tomorrow according to WLS. Fair play to anyone traveling down there, you are mad. |

Got called Fun Boy Three in a group chat I was in yesterday and I can't not think of them as that now |

Not a choice for me, I guess if I had known it was, things might have been different. Home counties, 90s, I was about the only non-Man Utd fan around save a few oddballs like me who were forced into things like QPR or Luton Town or Crystal Palace. Wouldn't change it for the world now, even if it is a world of pain |

So you don't think he used his strength well to block the Preston defender, make sure he got a touch and left it for Chair to progress? If you can't see that, I don't know what to say |

Treat yourself to the goal as a start, his strength to hold off the defender and keep us in posession was vital to the break. Did it a few times too |

Burrell chased some defenders and was effective with that, didn't see anything from him in terms of link up play. Celar is not much of a presser but his link up play was very good, some lovely touches including one that directly led to our goal. Different players, playing different roles. Celar absolutely wasn't the issue today. |
 | Forum Reply | Walsh v Nardi at 19:10 9 Aug 2025
I'd play him certainly, it's just always seems to be club policy to play the backup in the cup games...but yeah, 100% he needs all the minutes if he is the number 1 right now. |
 | Forum Reply | Walsh v Nardi at 19:03 9 Aug 2025
I'm comfortable now and accepted it will be Walsh for the forseeable. I wonder if Nardi starts v Plymouth though or we just smash through using Walsh every game for now. Also wonder what Nardi thinks, he might not want to be a number 2 at his age, if he leaves do we rely on Salamon as No. 2 or bring in someone to sit on the bench? |

2 teenagers at full back, centre backs were 22 and 23. Of course we still had that defensive moment of madness and I think we'll need 'club dad' Steve Cook quite a bit this season as well as Jimmy's experience. But I think that is positive. Mbengue is a proper player isn't he? |

A few of our players on their last legs now Cook and Vale on for Morgan and Dembele |

Poku, Celar and Esquerdinha off, Burrel, Kolli and Adamson on |
