Good luck with it, work for a large corporate, HR, Finance IT, Design all outsourced or off shored to Manila, India, Poland skeleton people in the UK. People talk and worry about immigration, no one is talking about the emigration of jobs wholesale in services, admin, finance etc. Entry level roles in things such as Marketing all gone since Brexit and Pandemic. If you can work from home then you can work from a home (or office) in a low wage, no regulation country. If I was in recruitment I would be looking at Niche or remote working for Middle East companies like Saudi who are desperate to bring in Western talent |

They are not lower level, they are the same level as us they came 16th in the Spanish 2nd division sandwiched between Deportivo and Malaga and were one win off 11th They were joint 3rd highest scorers in the division last season |

Ok let's get a bit of perspective here, Young squad 3 weeks into pre-season with new manager after a week of warm weather training and double sessions. Gets tanked by small technical pressing and passing Spanish team of equivelent level whilst playing weaker 11 in the first half playing an unfamiliar 4-4-2 formation with one fit striker and two dev kids playing out of position at right back (where he got slaughtered) and 2nd half with no recognised striker having won 5-0 the week before. One would hope Stephan has learnt that a) We dont have a squad for 4-4-2 b) We need strikers c) We need full backs |

Kolli was in a leg brace at the end of the Under 21s cup final 6-7 weeks ago so would suspect he is injured. Sat on the bench watching the game for the first pre-season |

Looks exactly the same player before he left. The young Brazilian is streets ahead of him |

Never has there been a greater example as to why 4-4-2 went out of the modern game, just outnumbered everywhere and no actual strikers. Tactics in the previous game seemed smart and clever switching from 4-3-3 defending to 3-4-3 attacking. We were just lost in this against a smart press and a team with good passing and movement. The positives have to be it really showed up the deficiencies we have up front and at full back that need to be addressed. Positives if there are any are the three young players Tuck, Esquerdhina, Akindeleni and perhaps Richards as well |

the strong rumour is the 3rd kit is green and white hoops |
 | Forum Reply | Pink and Black halves at 14:29 11 Jul 2025
unsurprisingly predictable who hates it. Bottom line is it will sell to younger fanbase and the girls, the previous pink kit being a best seller. Its quite stylish and will match half the squad who where pink boots. We've had far worse and at least its not boring |

Very sad to see him go a very likeable manager. At the start of last season before a ball had been kicked I would have said the chances of him managing us this season were next to zero and probably would have depended on us being promoted. Do well he would be moving up, do badly he would be fired, did not quite expect it to end in this manner though. Wish him all the best saved us from Ainsworth once and saved us from a combo of too many foreign signings and his own stubbornness the second time around |

When renewing or getting a new phone with 02 always cheaper and shorter contracts available through 3rd parties and always do it on a bank holiday to get the best price |

I always understood it that when managers get the tic tac what happens is they get paid monthly anyway up to a certain point and if they get a new job in that time then the club that has fired no longer has to pay. Gardening leave is usually an avenue where the person leaving is told not to come back or have any contact with other employees and this done to protect data and trying to pinch people into a new role |

As soon as I heard the Wilder news, I wondered if this might happen. Fair enough |

As a fellow air crash investigation enthusiast immediate thought was wrong flaps take off. Over on PPPrune which is where all the pilots and industry discuss this type of thing there are two main theories across hundreds of posts including 787 pilots 1. They elected flaps up instead of gear up pilot error 2. The one which is looking more likely from the evidence is massive electrical failure and possible bird strike in the left engine. Plane is a notorious lemon at Air India, no A/C or in flight on previous flight. Guy who survived said the the green exit light came on and apparently that only happens in total power loss. Much debate as to whether the RAT which is an emergency power generator deployed |

Up there with the all time greats. How he got to 82 is incredible given the sheer amount of cocaine he consumed |

Another one coaching since his 20's with not much of a playing career. Dad is the France Assistant manager. Came through Youth set up at Rennes and that is considered on of the best in the world. So all of those things stack up. However his "game model" is not the same as ours so we will see. |

Nearly all of this would be in his contract anyway, it's the same with any manager, there will be an amount agreed if contract terminated, paid monthly and stops if they get another role it won't be the full contract value. Gardening leave is used in non football business for senior management and sales people and its usually done to stop people tapping up clients or staff. I'm sure as part of the gardening clause he is not allowed to take any data (transfer targets) or speak to current members of staff. So for example if he had got the West Brom job this prevents him from tapping up a Jimmy Dunne or a Chair or coaching staff. |

The way I read it is that Dunne has a contract offer on the table but we are a back plan should Sheff Utd not agree a deal. Colback, Anderson and Fox will be offered much less as now bit part players but both sides unlikely to agree until manager in situ. If we had offered anything like they were on (or even offered) all 3 I'm sure would have bit our hands off |
