25 craps in 243 words. That's a lot of crap. There's a cure for that (not sure it will work on QPR!) [Post edited 9 Jun 11:02]

It didn't have to come out at all. Most of the players we have signed under Nourry managed to go under the radar until the deal was done, and then we weren't told anything about transfer fees or length of contract. And now we are being told that we're not accepting a £5m offer from Espanyol for one of our brighter talents. Seems like selective leaking to me. But I could be wrong. Maybe the club recognises the futility in trying to keep a lid on all this and is changing its communications strategy. Let's see how it plays out and if they are willing to tell us how much they spend on new signings this summer. If it's all above board then fair enough. If it isn't then we're being played. |

I'm waiting for Pep to come to his senses and admit to himself that he has taken Citeh as far as he can and what he needs now to burnish his credentials as the greatest manager of his generation is to take a job where literally everyone else fails. So that'll be him next in line for the Stoke job..... |

Not saying you're wrong. I will be delighted if we cash in on one of our bright young things for some serious wedge instead of hanging on to them for too long and getting peanuts like we did with Willock, Dickie, BOS, etc, etc. But most people on this forum and on social media recognise that the club has been keeping a stranglehold on communications that is counter productive and frankly a bit patronising. So I can't help being a bit suspicious when the one story that does manage to sneak under the wire and make a break for freedom just happens to make the CEO look good (without even mentioning him by name). Funny that But yes, other than my abject cynicism about the motive for being allowed to know this bit of information at this time then yes it's good news. [Post edited 2 Jun 14:13]

That just puts even more pressure on Arteta. I wouldn't be surprised if Arsenal (men) have a serious go at one of the domestic cups next season. I don't think Arteta will survive another season without some silverware |

About this time every year my Facebook timeline gets clogged up with my Spurs mates goading my Arsenal mates for not winning anything. Arsenal fans smugly reply that they finished higher in the league and that's all that matters - © Arsene Wenger Now Arsenal fans have to cope with the fact that the worst Spurs team in decades has won something and they haven't. That "higher in the league" jibe sounds a little hollow, and they know it. If you don't count the Community Shield (stop it Pep, my ribs are starting to hurt!) Arsenal haven't won a major trophy since 2020. Spurs winning the Europa League will haunt them every day until they do win something, (and then there'll be no shutting them up). - It'll crank the pressure on Arteta - It'll have that gobshite Piers Morgan sobbing into his cornflakes every morning for weeks - It'll probably leave Gunnersaurus seeking therapy Now that's proper funny. Football is about glory and winning things. That's what people remember. [Post edited 26 May 11:52]

But will our cup performance be strong enough for Titz? |

You'll burn in the deepest circles of Hell for that one, boyo. Unless the Buddhists are right about karma, in which case you'll probably come back supporting QPR. There's tidy :-) |

"Would love to know what Stan was doing in or near Griffin Park after 11:30pm." Stan Bowles lived in Brentford for many years. I believe he lived in one of the roads next to the ground. I lived over that way for a while and he was known to pop into all the local pubs from time to time. Although I was never lucky enough to see him. |
